Super fast, delicious food. No one standing in store, all waiting outside to collect their orders.  Well done flake haven.

I've been regularly having food from Flake Haven for over a year now ever since my partner moved close by and it is the best fish and chip shop I've ever had food from. We literally order takeaway weekly from here. I've had the chips, chicken burger, potato cake and fish from here. Batter is super crispy on all and the portion size is great. Prices are also really affordable and probably slightly cheaper than most fish and chip places, especially ones of this quality. My partner and I usually order $5 chips enough for 2-4 people as a side/snack or chicken burgers/fish if we're having dinner. My partner has tried the lot burger before and has liked it too. Our classic afternoon snack order is $5 chips with extra chicken salt they don't charge you for the extra salt. Staff are all friendly too which is a bonus! I think locals in the area have the same opinion because the shop always seems to have orders going, even at non-peak times waiting time is around 10 mins btw. We always call beforehand then pick it up 10 mins later.  TLDR: 5 stars, quality and the price of the food are amazing, good to support a local business during COVID-19 too.

This used to be my favourite fish and chip place. However my experience in Good Friday was not ideal. I order 4 grilled fish and 6 potato cake and $2:50 of chips. I received all the other things and 7 chips, which is 36cents a chip. They are appear to be ripping people on Good Friday. Please avoid the rip off and avoid this place.

Ordered a fried whiting, was served crispy and hot. Best I’ve had in a while. Very satisfied with the service too!

Seriously, the best batch of fish and chips we, as a family, have had for ages. Perfectly cooked and served with friendly service. Keep up the good work!

This place used to be our favourite fish and chips, however lately we noticed their price has gone up, which I don't mind, however what really disappointing is the quality no longer the same. I bought 2 packs of fish fingers today and we ended up with over 1 packs left.  The fish is very dried heavily overcooked I guess.

Ordered 1 grilled Blue Grenadier and 2 grilled scallops tonight, very impressed. Grilled very well, and cut like butter.  Taste superb.  PS: They do a great job on "burgers with the lot" here too.  Overall very consistent.

I've had burgers, souvlakis and my fave is the fish finger pack. Generous pieces of fish and chips for a decent price. Fresh and decent fish n chip ship.

Serviceable local fish and chips. Quick and good value.
