Horrible experience. They rang my partner and told him we could collect my mother's ashes. Problem was my mum's body was still at the hospital waiting to be taken to the crematorium. When I went to collect her he tried to give me a urn of dirt from out the back. Ended up taking her elsewhere and made sure she was looked after properly.
After contacting several Funeral Directors in the region, we decided to engage Fitzroy Funerals for our Mum's funeral. The service was the most beautiful mark of respect, we would have ever wished for! Colin and the team at Fitzroy Funerals were wonderful and there to guide us through every step of the way. The team at Fitzroy Funerals, were incredibly supportive of our family needs. We would highly recommend their services.
I am disgusted and appalled at this company. I was at the funeral that you claim to be a false and misleading review. There is proof of you doing this funeral in the way of emails and payment. Would you like them publicised? You have now added more heartache and grief to a family that is already struggling to come to terms with their tragic loss. How dare you behave in a manner so unbecoming of your profession. YOUR RESPONSES ARE SERIOUSLY FALSE AND MISLEADING...... THE CLIENT WAS RODNEY BEAR MY PARENTS AND IT WAS FOR MY BROTHERS FUNERAL..... BUT YES YOU DID RESPOND TO THEM AND YOU EVEN APOLOGISED FOR PREVIOUSLY STATING IT WAS A FALSE AND MISLEADING REVIEW. YOU HAVE NOW REMOVED MY PARENTS REVIEW BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T LIKE IT. GOOGLE KEEP OUR REVIEWS SO MY PARENTS STILL HAVE IT ON FILE. DO YOU MAKE IT A HABIT TO REMOVE BAD REVIEWS OR DENY ANY REFERENCE TO THEM SO YOU CAN KEEP A CLEAN RECORD. SERIOUSLY NOT GOOD BUSINESS. LETS SEE HOW LONG BEFORE YOU REMOVE THIS POST.
Absolutely Brilliant! The funeral directors were not only very friendly but also highly professional and compassionate. I have used other funeral services in the region and was disgusted by the lack of professionalism by those who are agents for others. Fitzroy actually own their business and they do a fantastic job of running it. Other services that are only agents for others also take a long time to get the ashes back from cremations about 6 weeks for my Grandfather because they get so behind, we had ours back in THREE DAYS!!
I had Fitzroy Funerals do my fathers funeral from go to wo. I found them very professional and easy to deal. My fathers funeral was well organised and I’d definitely recommend. Thanks again Colin and the team for everything. Rick Urquhart
