Had a great experience with Dr Riyen, she made me feel comfortable and was very careful and always gave me a heads up before a sensitive part so that I wasn't shocked by any discomfort. Overall a very pleasant experience surprising for a trip to the dentist! The facilities were also all very clean and modern, they even put on Netflix for me to watch during my cleaning! Receptionists were also very friendly :
I've had a couple of appointments with Dr Riyen Tan despite the same last name, we're not related and her gentleness and precision is well worth commending!
Elsternwick Dental Group was unbelievable with my daughter who needed urgent dental work completed. They were playful, positive, and supportive, and also rearranged the day's schedule to enable what she needed done to be completed immediately. Amazing family care!
I visited Elsternwick Dental for the first time after 2 years of hiatus from any dental checkup. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr Riyen Tan attended to my dental check up. She was very professional and careful in explaining what she was going to do and the steps throughout the process. This puts me at ease and I am also very please with the end result of the cleaning and descaling. She took me through my X-ray and gave me an overall snapshot of my teeth based on her examination, what to look out for and how to look after them. This is the first time a dentist has done that for me to the level I find it helpful. I will definitely be returning to see Dr Riyen again. Thank you.
From the minute you walk in Angie makes you feel welcomed and at ease. I haven’t had great experiences with dentists before but Dr Clive was amazing, made me feel relaxed and talked me through the treatments that I require. Would recommend them to anyone.

I went to see Riyen for the first time and it was honestly the most pleasant dentist experience I ever had. She was very gentle and explained everything really well to me. All the other staff were also lovely. Can highly recommend.
I called this clinic for an appointment the same day. Reception staff went above and beyond to accomodate my needs. The clinic is so lovely and the dentist made me feel very comfortable and took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. Really positive experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
By far the best dental practice out there. Every person is friendly and professional. Dental work is thorough and gentle. They walk you through everything and take the time to listen to you so it doesn't feel like a production line. Highly recommend Elsternwick Dental Group, especially if you've been avoiding the dentist.
