If you are looking to have amazing seafood, coke here right now!!! Their fish and chips are one of the best I’ve had in my life, the soft shell crab was divine as in the name, and everything else we ordered was just amazing including the drinks! The staff were so friendly and the food came out quite quickly. Because if our amazing experience, we booked another dinner here
If you are at airline beach and haven't tried their cuisine then your trip is not complete. I couldn't give my compliments to the chef for putting up amazing food on the table. It was divine as it's names call out for. Its a must. Be sure to reserve the table as they rarely entertain walkins, especially if you are traveling in a busy season. Had their salmon, fish Thai curry and for entrees had tiger prawns. Amazing amazing amazing
My family and I are here on holiday. We came here for dinner in hopes to find a good fresh seafood place! We originally had our reservation inside however we asked to move outside, staff were absolutely amazing! They were able to move our booking without a fuss, we were served by a gentleman who had shaved blonde hair, his service was outstanding, kind and had perfect communication. Drinks were refreshing and delicious, perfect balance for the type of food and gorgeous weather at Arlie! The food was out of this world!! Compliments to the chefs - my parents had the seafood platter for 2 + 1/2 dozen oysters: the seafood was fresh, delicious and had a great variety of different types of seafood which was all paired beautifully with the sauce!! 10/10. I had the seafood chowder, this dish is one of my all time favourites and I have to say chefs you nailed it!!! Best chowder I’ve had!! Again flavours were paired perfectly and the ‘cobloaf’ style the meal had just made the whole dish feel like home! This restaurant is pricey but expected as you get what you’re paying for in perfect service and great food and drinks!! I can’t recommend Fish D’vine enough!! We will be back next time we visit Experience 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Food + Beverage 10/10 Thank you for having us and making our stay so special and memorable!
Great mojitos that they advertise as voted Worlds Best. But my vote would be for Worlds Best Garlic Bread!! A sourdough full cob loaf of oily garlic chewy wonderfulness! The soft-shell crab was awesome. The seafood crowded into the sourdough cob loaf wasn't bad either! I'm not sure I would spend the $40 on the Lord Nelson cocktail again, but it was tasty.
Enjoyed a lovely evening here. We started at the Bar and tried the world famous mojitos and they were delicious and fresh. Once seated we ordered and the food was very quickly out to us. Can highly recommend the calamari and pork belly. Also nice air conditioning if it's hot outside!
Overall good food, service and location. The mud crab was big and with a tasty sauce Thai Curry had coconut milk in it and barramundi was fresh, as were oysters, and the bread was delicious. Overall good lunch, about $$$ in price.
Section waiter's where friendly but however they needed to be waved down for service. The fried seafood was way over salted and the chowder was very hot to the point it took us 40 mind to eat. Wine was great. Disappointing there was no Creamy garlic sauce on anything! Danni had great service!
Easily best meal I had in Airlie - it's not even a competition. The seafood chowder and lemon meringue martini were mind-blowingly good. Just superb. Martini was perfect balance of tart and sweet and the toasted flavour of the meringue on top was superb. Chowder was perfect. Creamy, savoury, comforting, seasoned perfectly and stuffed to the brim with fish, prawns and mussels. I wish I had more stomach room but I'll be back when I have space. Waiter was lovely and gave me tips on how to attack the bread portion of the chowder cut off chunks and let the soup spill into the bowl. Thank you!
Great food, decent experience. To get it out of the way, dining here can get quite expensive, and the wait time for food can be a bit long, but the quality of the foods can be quite stellar in my humble opinion, and the wait time is justified in my humble opinion considering the efforts they would probably need to put in to prepare the dish. A major selling point of the diner is the various type of cocktails they provide, which, being a minor, I don’t have the luxury to experience. However, they do also offer a considerably smaller range of variable non-alcohol mocktails, including their ever famous mojito virgin edition ™, which I did get to experience. I tried out the lime virgin mojito and it’s honestly refreshing. Is it ‘world’s best’ as promised, uhh aughhh oughhh… well it’s not my place to judge since I had limited experience with cocktails or mocktails in this matter, but it’s good, great, it took my mind out of the humidity of Queensland and provided me with a moment of tranquility and it didn’t even contain alcohol, so I would recommend trying it. Now to the dishes. Honestly they all looks amazing, didn’t get to try all of them obviously, but at least they all looks and smells great. I did get to try one particular piece of work, the San Francisco Style Seafood Chowder. It’s delicious. I drank the last drop of the soup and ate the last chunk of the bread. Flavoring is top tier, the creamy texture of the chowder is amazing, the presentation is also absolutely on another level, just look at the photo and you will get what I mean. I can honestly rant about how good the chowder is for another two paragraphs, but my review is already getting pretty boring. I also tried some pieces of fish and chips my peers ordered, they are kinda dull, pretty standard, the fries are pretty average. That might proved that not all dishes in this diner is created equally, but I mean, you don’t really come to these type of restaurants for fish and chips, do you? So anyway, I hope my total ramble of a review provided at least some useful information, great restaurant, 8.5/10, wouldn’t come again cuz Queensland is just too damn humid. Not the restaurant’s fault tho Edit: I just added some more photos we have taken during the trip
