We are on a motorcycle tour of New Zealand and were having some minor dramas. Travis and the technicians at Filco went out of their way to fit us in without a booking, on the first business day after the holidays, and got us back on the road. Super friendly, helpful and could not recommend them highly enough!!! This shop is awesome.
Do not shop here at Filco, the management team aren't helpful at all and they refuse to resolve an issue on $4,000 faulty bike they sold me recently. Said they won't refund me but will exchange the bike if I upgrade. Seriously considering taking this further into court. In the meantime, I went to Toyota Tasman and they're super helpful, fair, honest, and reliable. Go to Toyota Tasman instead.
Fantastic team and service, dropped in my jetski for it to have a summer ready birthday. New battery new oil, filters, fully checked over and came up smelling like roses the lads are friendly and responsive. Would absolutely go back and the price was less than quoted so winning all round. Thanks team
A big thank you to Travis and the team! Amazing service to fit us in during the holidays and get us back on the water as soon as possible. Could not recommend Filco high enough to anyone and will definitely be back in the future!
If I could give it more stars I would. Nothing but friendly faces here in Filco. I travel close to 2 hours to get here just for the service alone. Offered me drinks and food while I was waiting for my bike to be serviced and having chats along the way. If I were to reccomend a bike shop in the near area it would be this one.
On tour in the South Island. Called from Hokitika regarding a front tyre. Didn't have what I wanted so went through in person and found a suitable tyre. Workshop fitted it within 30 minutes and I was on my way in 45. GST was charged twice by mistake on the tyre and this was refunded a day later with no quibbles. Pleasant people to deal with. Can recommend the service
Was down from wellies to visit family in Nelson, and my chain needed lubing, and tightening. They were so helpful and caring. Sussed me a nice deal and had me on my way. Highly recommend to any rider/soon-to-be rider to pop by the shop.
Whilst on holiday in NZ rented a bike but it needed urgent significant work on the 2nd day. Filco fitted us in the next working day and even lent us a demo bike whilst repairs were done. Repairs carried out ahead of predicted time, can't fault the service.
Just want to say to the team , thankyou very much for a great service, thanks for helping me on short notice , really appreciate it , especially this time of year , all the staff are very friendly and helpful , going out of your way to help , going the extra mile , Dave you have a good team . Wishing all of you a very merry xmas and may 2023 be wonderful to each and every one of you . Thanks
