We had such a great weekend at Windmill Lodge and didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to switch off, relax and enjoy some time away from the city.nnThe lodge itself is cosy, spacious and has so much character. We spent our evenings by the fire watching movies, had a BBQ, enjoyed the spa, and had so much fun playing the games that were there. It really has everything you need for a relaxing getaway.nnThe location is another big plus. It’s close to all the little shops, cafés and beautiful walks around the Dandenong Ranges, so there’s plenty to explore if you feel like getting out. But honestly, it’s just as nice staying in, listening to the birds, sitting by the fire and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere.nnEverything was clean, comfortable and well looked after, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it feel welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend Windmill Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape.

We had a lovely stay at Jacuzzi Lodge. It was spacious, clean and nestled in a beautiful, private forest setting. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The whole place was beautifully styled too. Loved all the little touches.nnThe outdoor jacuzzi was amazing. Relaxing under the trees surrounded by fairy lights and listening to the sounds of nature felt magical. It felt like a true secluded mountain retreat but was still close to cafés and local attractions. The beauty of this place is that you could easily spend your whole time at the lodge, going for short walks around the grounds or venture out into the nearby towns instead.nnIt was the perfect place for my partner and I to relax and spend quality time together. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jacuzzi Lodge.

We stayed at Brook Cottage at Fernglen Forest Retreat, and what a wonderful getaway! The rainforest surroundings were so peaceful and tranquil, whilst the fire was a lovely cosy touch on a chilly weekend. Being able to bring our pet along to share our retreat was a huge highlight. Not to mention the friendly visitors of cockatoos, rosella's, King parrots and the shy darling doe!!!nThe cottage was spacious, well equipped and offers complete privacy. The team at Fernglen were very welcoming, accommodating and responsive to our requests.nLocation is convenient and a short drive to restaurants, cafes and some of the Dandenong Ranges beautiful walks.nThank you for a wonderful getaway and we look forward to our next visit!

We had such a relaxing stay at Fernglen Forest Retreat and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Dandenong Ranges.nnThe retreat is surrounded by beautiful forest, and it was so nice waking up to the sounds of birds and being immersed in nature. It felt private, quiet and a world away from the city.nnInside, everything was clean, comfortable and well set up. The fireplace made for cosy evenings, and the bath overlooking the trees was a real standout. It was the perfect place to slow down and unwind.nnThe location is also great, with plenty of great walking trails, cafés and local attractions only a short drive away, making it easy to explore the area.nnOverall, Fernglen Forest Retreat is a beautiful place to escape, recharge and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We'd happily stay there again.

We had a beautiful stay here in brook cottage. Very quiet nestled in beautiful bushland. The cottage was beautiful. It smelt lovely when we walked in and very clean. There was some damage to the plaster in a couple of places but nothing that negativity effected the stay.nnEasy self checkin.nnThere are two hairpin turns as you enter the property but the owner makes sure you are aware of them before your stay. If coming at night for the first time I would recommend high beams and slow.nnThe shower was lovely and the shampoo provided was great.nnThe only feedback I have is the mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. It sinks in the middle. But other than that we had a wonderful time and will be back.
