Ordered fish and chips and was able to substitute chips with roasted potatoes instead (that's what the photo in the menu looked like) Food came and was pretty tasty. Staff brought the ketchup out promptly too. Good service I thought. Then after finishing the main waited for an hour for desert! Not so good! Would have been 4* otherwise. The bread and butter pudding was tasty, though I'd have preferred the custard to be thicker.

On the plus side it hasn't changed in 20 years. On the down side it hasn't changed in 20 years. Decidedly dog eared now and very dated. The prices are pure 21st century, the wine was acceptable for this kind of bar. Staff mostly interested in serving their clients.

Do not eat here! The mash potato had more flavour than the Barra! The Barra was dry like beef jerky and the broccoli tasted like the freeze dried bs that the supermarket sells. Terrible waste of money.

Decent Irish pub. Part of a hotel chain attached. Great music on a Thursday night. Sports on telly. 3.5 stars actually.

Basic Irish pub. Timber tables & chairs, sprawling corner venue with pool table in 1 section. Very quiet till locals knocked off work. Ok but not warm & inviting.
