The burger patty was tasty and the pickles were great, nice that it was a milk bun and not brioche, but overall it was a pretty average experience. I was disappointed with the chips – I was expecting fries but got thick, bland ones instead. The service wasn’t friendly or helpful, which really took away from the visit. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.
The friend chicken burger and chips were very nice and the Mac and cheese bites were perfect. The whole atmosphere of the shop was really retro and cool. Only thing I’d suggest is to put normal Mayo in the southern fried chicken burger instead of the yellow sauce as it didn’t go with the burger and tasted like an Indian curry sauce.
We went with a group and relatively good experience at first.. food came out rather quickly, drinks took some time. One waitress was extremely rude and honestly ruined our time there. Practically threw down our food, was extremely aggressive when asking simple question like if we could get some water. Everything else was good, other staff was kind but the way this member of the staff was treating us is keeping us from going back here.
Apple Maps did not get me there but faithful Google maps helped me find this treasure. Wow! Read the story about Bob! The staff were amazing and attentive and the food was fresh. Highlight is that you can have no bun on that burger or a burger wrapped in lettuce and no one raises an eyebrow. Worth a visit just for a soda water or their loaded sweet potato fries.
A really nice place with a unique atmosphere and delicious food! I tried the friestone, which was the spiciest thing on the menu. It wasn’t TOO spicy, but the pineapple in the burger, mixed in with the jalapeño definitely made it spicy. The firestone costed around 20 but i think it’s worth it. I enjoyed it with the onion rings with aioli sauce, which both tasted amazing together. The lemon lime bitter is also an amazing drink which I recommend. The atmosphere is really unique with the plates on the walls, and the place had a reddish colour. Overall, a pretty great place, music was a bit too loud though, parking is also a bit of a pain as well.
