Found many fresh and vibrantly colourful seasonal fruits and vegetables that are not sold in supermarket. There are wine and cheese stalls, baked goods stalls, hot food and snacks stalls and many more including flowers stalls!nnA nice slow morning walk with food n drink in hands while busy looking at interesting goodies and buzzing crowds trying to catch up with friends n family.nnTime to put on the summer hat and sunglasses cause the sun can shine so unapologetically bright! Great local food market in Hobart. Fantastic range of produce, good selection of food outlets for breakfast and lunch. Cool local community meeting place and a wonderful showcase of local Tasmanian seasonal produce. A must visit when in Hobart.
As good as the other market down the road that happens on Saturday. Obviously smaller but well formed. The sushi truck is popular, hand made , it did take ages in the queue thou.
Everything here is about fresh. We love coming here because of the ambiance, the variety, the community, the seasonal food, the music and so much more. We stumbled on a stand for Bruny island oyster and it brought us back to the island and a gastronomy treat that we savoured for hours. It’s a must visit.
