Our truck hire was a really great experience. From the initial booking over the phone to dropping the truck back, everything ran smoothly and made our move so much easier. The trucks are well maintained, clean and a pleasure to drive. Libby was brilliant - even when we thought we'd scratched the truck. Thankfully, they take photos of any existing damage and compare on return of the vehicle. Thanks again. We will definitely recommend you to others

They were good. I had booked earlier than I actually arrived so my time was reduced to my original booking time. That was my fault. Thankfully, I got it all done in 1 day

Easiest experience ever renting a van. The women that run the show are so wonderful.

Disappointed our deposit was not refunded after COVID lockdown cancelled our travel plans . Qantas, Linai Riverside Appartments, Brisbane airport parking and the Basketball event happily gave us a full refund no questions asked. Will not be using this business again.

To Whomever Cares  I hired a truck from NQ Mackay for 4 days. The lady at the front counter was extremely rude and the truck clearly unroadworthy! Cracked across the windscreen, no aircon, made a huge screeching  noise whilst driving, no clearance lights working. I called up to let them know we are returning the truck a day early & was still charged for 4 days ! I hire trucks & have been for years all over Australia & after my experience with NQ Truck Rentals will never be using you again. I hope this email reaches someone of importance in your company. Tried my best to stay with a small local business. I was emailed on the 6th,"would defiantly be available!" Tried to confirm booking 5 emails, 4 ignored, 3 no return calls and 2 palm offs to other staff. One week before my "would defiantly be available!"booking. Finally made contact and was told due to a shut down my "would defiantly be available!" vehicle is no "longer available". Asked to speak to the original "would defiantly be available!" consultant but she is not "available"  and would call me back before the end of the day. Days later I'm still waiting on the call back. Made 1 call to a major business at the airport, Booked, and confirmed. For less $$ than NQ car and trucks advertised special price. I did my best for over 2 weeks to shop local. Too be let down buy a business with poor/no communication and who had no regard for me and my 11 overseas guests. Mines 1st, Mackay Tourism 2nd.
