I booked a 7 day hire with Budget, then had to change it to a 5 day booking starting 2 days later than the original plan. First they wanted to charge me more for the 5 day booking than the 7 day booking. Then, they wouldn't agree to amend the booking at all! I would have had to start a new booking with a more expensive car type! Very poor!!! I cancelled and booked with Sixt who were cheaper and confirmed straight away.
