I had a very strange experience visiting the dental clinic so can’t comment on the dentist’s skills- he might be great! It was my first visit and I was asked to provide some standard information but then also to have a photo taken while I was sitting in reception. It was a bit odd and I’ve never been asked that so I told the assistant that I’d be happy to do so after first chatting with the dentist about the treatment it was just an initial visit to talk through my options. She insisted and I asked what it was used for since it would just be me… sitting in reception not my teeth or anything relevant to a dentist? She couldn’t answer and said it was just policy but wasn’t sure why. I again said I’d be happy to have any photos related to my treatment after chatting with the dentist. She agreed initially but then returned to say if I was refusing to have my photo taken, the dentist wouldn’t see me. So I left. Bit of a bummer, and very weird.

By far the worst dentist experience I have ever had! I booked in to see Dr Anand as I was referred by a friend. The first appointment I waited half an hour before being seen. After this they did an over priced by a long shot dental plan because I needed all of this work apparently. 13k worth to be exact and a total of 6 visits. I then proceeded to book in for a tooth extraction on a Friday took the day off work just to be called and told it would be cancelled as Dr Anand was sick fair enough. I re booked the appointment for the following Monday and took the day off work also. To be called 2 hours before the appointment to be moved forward 15mins I accepted this then to be called an hour before saying it’s cancelled again as he was sick…If you’re sick you’re sick not a lot you can do But I also told them when I first booked in that I was in a lot of pain as I had two wisdom teeth in one spot. I was on heavy antibiotics and pain relief but yet they still cancelled my appointments. The cost to have the teeth removed was $850 however I went to another dentist in Palmerston and they charged me $250 both prices not including private health. What an absolute rip off. I was happy to pay both prices as I was in a lot of pain but that is a big difference. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion after going here if you do. Do not recommend.

Good Afternoon dear family and friends! Just a post to let you know I survived close to 6 hours in the chair yesterday and Dr Anand Patel got everything done by about 1830 last night. He and his dental nurses did an awesome job and Karen Doyle you are right, it was as pain free as he could make it and his pain control regime ongoing has me a bit dopey  or maybe that’s my normal state and dozey, but feeling OK.  He made a huge effort to use the bridge and 3 teeth, 1 as a  mega saving for me and 2 because they were so well made and a perfect match to the others that were added over the last 10/20 years.nThanks to you all for your prayers love and healing thoughts.nGreat admiration and thanks to Dr Patel and his team

I have never in my entire life been to a dentist where I have not been absolutely petrified or in agony. I was originally terrified of going to the dentist which resulted in me not going for years and despising my smile. Thank god I found Dr Anand & his team as not only does he take extreme care of his patients in making sure they are comfortable, he is also a perfectionist! What more could you want The beautiful set of veneers he created me are incredibly natural & flawless there is no possible way to tell they are not my original set. The precision he puts towards creating the perfect smile for his patients is next to none and I would not suggest to go anywhere else.

Dr Anand and his team are amazing. Very professional and helpful. I had a complicated issue with my teeth, which demanded a lot of visits and time. The end result is astonishing. Dr Anand is a perfectionist, as I am, and he exceeded my expectations. The office is a state of the art, high end, well equipped place that added confidence to the whole experience. Thank you again for bringing my smile back!
