WHAT DO WE DO?

Design Service

Extensions Unlimited provides a free extension design service. Our background ensures we provide a design solution that balances sound construction, good taste and a fair price. Your extension will be designed to enhance and compliment your home. Above all, we listen. It’s your home… tell us what you want to achieve.

Working Drawings

Extensions Unlimited provide working drawings produced by our registered practitioners. Quotations are also available for clients who supply their own working drawings.

Permits & Engineering

The Company will arrange for all building permits and liaise with all local government bodies as required. This service can include detailed soil reports, engineered working drawings (as required) and computations. All asset protection fees are paid as required by local government.

Constraints

HIC-4 Master Builder Home Improvement contracts are used. All projects have fixed price and a guaranteed start and completion date. All clients are protected by the required insurances and are issued with a warranty insurance certificate.

Construction

All trades have completed an occupational health and safety course (Red Card) and are trained under the company’s code of conduct policy.
The works are periodically inspected by independent surveyors who will issue reports during the progress of the works and a final certificate upon completion.
Electricians are A-Grade, certified and provide a certificate of electrical safety guaranteeing their work.
Company project managers are qualified to carry out electrical lead tagging on all power tools on site.
Plumbers are fully certified and licensed to carry out all sanitary, water, advanced gas, roofing, and storm-water/drainage works and provide a guarantee of works from the plumbing industry commission.
Major scaffolding is erected by qualified riggers.
Company tarpaulins are owned and maintained or hired as required.

The team at Extensions Unlimited were fantastic to deal with, from designing and building our extension on time and on budget. Our Designer, Ted, Project Manager Nick, along with Ritchie and Trav were professional, great to deal with, and worked in well with our young son who never left their side during the build! Nick always kept us up to date with progress and upcoming information well ahead of time. I would highly recommend the Extensions Unlimited Team.
Extensions Unlimited were simply amazing! From the very first point of contact to the handover at the end, it was just seamless, much like a well-oiled machine. Barry West, the designer, listened to what we wanted and came up with a design we were so happy with. He has a real eye for detail and made our second storey extension blend seamlessly with our existing period home. Brett, our Project Manager was great too and kept us informed via sending us schedules every few weeks. He was always available to take our call if needed and very helpful. We lived in our house while the second storey went on; we were a bit worried how we would cope, living in a construction site, but it honestly was so easy. We would recommend Extensions Unlimited to anyone looking for a builder. We are over the moon with our result!
The overall process of dealing with Extensions Unlimited was seamless, and started with a really collaborative and engaging design process. The team were able to navigate some tricky council issues, as well as manage the whole process in-and-out of lock downs. The project was delivered on cost and in time, inline with expectations. As always, there were a few call backs and the team were always on the front foot and ensured we were left happy with the end result. We're very much looking forward to enjoying the new space! Thank you to Emilio, Jack and Lachy for all the good work.
We had the most amazing experience with Extensions Unlimited. They listened, they communicated and they delivered. I can't praise them highly enough for their prompt response, transparency and their professionalism. Living in the house through an upstairs extensions and renovations with three teenage girls and a dog was not so bad after all. Our Designer, Barry, was so dedicated and patient, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Emilio our Project Manager is calm, trustworthy and very understanding, made this journey most enjoyable and stress free. Shane and Lachie for their excellent craftsmanship. We highly recommend Extensions Unlimited if you are looking to complete an extension to your home! My first phone call to enquire, I spoke to Sandy Pavey who explained the entire process and immediately put me at ease. Ted Bolte, our designer, listened and understood our vision and worked closely with us as we arrived at a design for our extension/renovation that we were excited about. Penni Winter, the pre-construction manager, has unending patience dealing with council and was always reassuring. She seamlessly manages everything leading up to the start of construction. Brett Harvey, our builder and project manager, was a delight to work with. He is responsive, calm and always happy to discuss questions and explain everything. We found all the trades that came into our home were fantastic - the quality of work is great and everyone was friendly and always happy to have a chat and answer questions. From start to finish, we always felt that our home was in good hands and everyone involved was invested in giving us a home our family will enjoy for years to come. Thank-you Extensions!
Very happy with our new extension and the experience we received through Extensions Unlimited. Its certainly turned our home into a very functional space for our growing family! From the design, to dealing with council, prebuild and building we found the process fairly streamlined. We appreciated the communication and organization we received from our project manager- things happened when he said they would Thanks Nick!. We had a three year old who was heavily involved in the building process and we especially loved how the crew would engage his love for all things construction Thanks Richie, Trav and PJ. We found all the contractors to be professional and the team really responsive to anything that we weren't quite sure about. Would certainly recommend Extensions Unlimited for anyone considering an addition to their home.
We engaged Extensions Unlimited for a second story renovation of a free standing house on a strata title. Our appointed designer Barry was fantastic and really made our vision of what we were trying to achieve come to life. He listened to all our needs and kept the charm of our California bungalow as requested, as well as designing a functional internal space, giving us the second living zone we wanted as our kids approached the teenage years. Penni in permits was great and guided us seamlessly through this portion getting us to building stage. Our appointed project manager Emilio was super. He was a pleasure to deal with and helped us navigate living through the build. The appointed trades were fantastic and did a fabulous job. The company directors were great at checking in and letting us know they were available if needed.
They got it!!! Right at the first meeting everyone from EU seemed to understand what I was trying to achieve, and for the most part the teams that work with the company. If they didn't at the start they were all certainly onboard to give me the outcome I was looking for. I now have an amazing space to call home. a Big thank you to Emilio and his team for putting up with my left-of-centre ideas.
Our dealing with Extensions Unlimited has been a positive and great experience. We explored all our options on whether we went knock down rebuild, having an architect design an extension and then needing to find a builder to build it. We are glad we settled on Extensions Unlimited who did it all for us. From the design stage with Barry which was a great experience who showed so much level of detail. Then through to admin with Steve and his team and then with Nick who project managed the build with his trades who had great attention to detail for the build. The majority of the build was done through the uncertainty of COVID. We were recommended Extensions Unlimited through some friends who too had a similar experience and are glad we took their advice.
