This cinema is nice. The regular seats don't have a recliner or are very spaciouscan only sit on the chair with feet on the ground. But besides that, it's great. Clean, good size screen and comfortable seats. Also the entire cinema is roomy in size.
Events Cinemas Bondi Junction is a great place for entertainment. There are movies available that suit all age groups, and occasionally you’ll find a screening of international movies as well. The facility is well looked after. The Events crew is lovely and friendly. There is the lift which is accessible for prams and wheelchairs. The only letdown is hygiene. The toilets are dirty at times, and the water taps are often broken, wasting a lot of water. I often find food debris on the carpet or inside the cinemas.
We tried the amazing cinema beds.... we had pillows missing, my bf didn't get one and I had a pillow that wasn't even from event. The bed was pushed out so we had to fix it and there was a face mask covered in vinegar under my bf side so I could smell it the whole movie. If I wasn't really excited about the movie we were watching I would of went out and asked for my money back. We paid about $70 for the bed plus snacks it was not worth it. There was stains on my side of the bed chocolate but maybe something else and of course there was popcorn all over the bed. I think they should change the fabric to something easier to clean and actually clean them before the movie... make them a priority as it is meant to be a luxury seat.
Great venue. I've been here a few times. Fairly tidy. Seats in the regular cinemas are 'supportive.' The screens are fine with decent surround sound. Popcorn and drinks are very expensive.
Absolutely disgusting toilets at this cinema when I brought it to the attention to the kids on duty they looked at me confused but just brushed it off. Expensive experience poor delivery of service. Some images are to gross to post.
This is my go-to cinema, the few times I've gone ots been rather empty so I quite enjoy that. All the tickets and food are self-serve but they have staff there to help you if needed. They also have an an app that you can book and buy food through as well. I highly recommend it.
It really depends on the movie. The prices are a little ridiculous but what are you going to do? They have seats and cup holders. The cup holders are a little low down and made it a bit tricky to grab the drink. The seats were not very comfortable, but it's a typical cinema.
Very extremely disappointed, cinema 6 seat c13 and c14 would have to be the worst smelling seats I have come across- sydney trains are cleaner than this cinema. So rotten, sweat with curry smell gave me a severe headache. Cinema needs new carpet and seats pronto- health department notification definitely . Shame on you event cinemas so gross my son asked “why is the floor sticky and why does it smell so bad ???? I had no words due to headache from smell
Needs more regular cleaning done around the snack area. Lights came on randomly during the movie at one point. Otherwise, has nice restaurants next to it if you want dinner or lunch before hand.
Does not even deserve 1 star. Could not believe how dirty to kiosk area was then continued into the cinema and the room was atrocious! Food, popcorn boxes and drinks everywhere! Under the seats are basically a rubbish tip. So unhygienic and surprised they get away with it given the rat infestation at Bondi! Disgusting!
