Cake was clearly not fresh and very dry, service was average and coffee was boiling hot. Won’t be back - worst coffee and cake in Melbourne.

I was really dissapointment with Europa Cake Shop. I stopped in a few weeks ago to pick up a dessert for me and my partner. My first issue was that there were no prices on the cakes, I've read below it's because there are two prices, a take in and a take out price but this should still be displayed. Very off putting that it isn't. I asked for what looked like a cheese cake and was told it was a Crème brûlée which I'm pretty sure it wasn't, tasted nothing like one. I then also asked for a lemon cake which was very very dry and had an over powering taste of flour. After picking these two I was told it was a minimum of $15 on card, having no cash I had to pick another cake which I believe was an Oreo cake. This was the nicest of all three. I was not impressed by the price vs. quality at all and in future will go else where but on the plus side its great opening hours and the portions are huge.
