Eureka Pharmacy has a new owner and he's lovely! 'Moe' as he likes to be called is a great guy. Always makes you feel welcome and will make sure the medications you need are there when you need them. His staff are always friendly and courteous and just as helpful as ever. As a regular to the Pharmacy I appreciate that he's never too busy for a joke and a chat and I always walk away feeling valued as a customer. 5 stars Moe!!

I haven’t been to this pharmacy in years but felt compelled to leave a review after this just came up in conversation.  I stopped coming here because I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by two pharmacists on separate occasions - one who I believe is the owner older guy with glasses and an Asian lady.  The Asian lady was very nosy, asking me invasive questions about why I was on these certain medications. She also asked them in a very abrupt manner. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with the way she was talking to me, she lectured me saying she wasn’t interested in my personal life and to come out with it and tell her. I didn’t understand why I had to explain anything to her, especially since I had already had the doctor’s appointment and the doctor wrote the script. I felt like crying after I left. No idea if she still works here though.  Another time, I was trying to pick up an over the counter medication for a family member who was too ill to come in themselves. The older guy asked me a bunch of questions about who the medication was for, why they couldnt get it themselves and and why they thought they needed it. All that, he refused to give it to me because I wasn’t quote “the bonafide end user”. I went to another pharmacy who were very understanding of the situation and gave it to me.  So all in all, I was made to feel guilty and ashamed. The other thing is that Eureka Medical is a small pharmacy so anything you discuss with the pharmacists can easily be heard by people nearby.  The two I just mentioned should not be health professionals at all as they have none of the bedside manner, respect for privacy or impartiality required. As pharmacists, you already know the indications for medications. The exact reasons are none of your business and between me and my GP.  The only redeeming thing is that there was one younger guy at the time in there who was quite nice and friendly. But he wasn’t in often enough.

I've been using eureka Pharmacy for years now Hugh James and Peter were awesome and now the new owner and his staff are polite and friendly always willing to help people. Keep up the great work guys

Called ahead to see if I could get docs signed. Told all good come down got there and was told 30 min wait. Room full of sick people so left. Considering I was told it would be done straight away. Went across to police station done in 5 mins.

I started going to Eureka pharmacy due to the convenience of it being located downstairs from my doctor. Now I go there due to the fantastic customer service, ease of ordering through the app and friendly advice when I query if over the counter medication will effect my existing scripts. They may cost a little more than some of the big chain pharmacies but in my opinion it's worth every penny. I can't recommend them enough.

After being a customer for the past 7+ years. It’s time to find a new pharmacy. It’s gone down hill in the last couple of months. Such a shame.

I attend this Pharmacy every second day to pick up medication and am constantly treated with respect and kindness. They are so lovely and always go out of their way to give advice on new medications and are easy to talk to. The medication may a cost a little more but id rather my money going to a family business than a large pharmacy chain. They also have a pick up app that works really well so your medication is ready in advance

I went to Eureka Medica pharmacy to collect medication for my sick friend. My friend previously called the pharmacy to confirm it was ok for me to collect as the script is not under my name. The pharmacy said that would be fine. Upon my arrival to collect my ill friends medication I was met with nothing but rudeness and content when it had already been confirmed with the pharmacy over the phone. There must be some miscommunication between the staff. The pharmacist interrupted my conversation with the other staff member and advised it wasn't ok. I had to get my friend to call up again to confirm while I was in store. And I was humiliated and looked like a fool in front of other customers. It's a well known fact that Eureka Medical pharmacy has a bad reputation for it's customer service. Will never attend again. Wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Rippers. Don't be lazy. Go somewhere else. Eureka Medical center should notice the price tags of this pharmacy, especially the prescription ones. And, they won't bother to give you the receipt also. F@#$%g losers.
