Highly recommend Maddie at Essential Beauty for any IPL hair removal. Maddie is by far the best I have ever come across; she is incredibly thorough and ensures customer safety before doing any procedure by doing a detailed skin analysis to ensure your skin is suitable for the laser and doing a patch test first. It was the most detailed consultation I have ever had about laser hair removal which included a demo on their laser and how it works. I was so impressed by Maddie, as she naturally made me very safe and comfortable knowing that you are in good hands. It is also great business practise knowing that their staff are highly trained experts and client safety is number one by having such a thorough process before undertaking any treatment - they do their due diligence. I can say this is rare, some clinics start without any consultation or test patch. I will be a returning customer to Maddie; her knowledge and expertise were outstanding.

This place was ridiculous as I went to get the sides of my face waxed. And having all my trust in the “professionals” I proceeded with my decision. After the session I realised a chunk of my skin has peeled off a a little bit off to my left eye and near jaw. The lady tried to brush it off as though I won’t notice but after realising that I have realised she told me to use paw paw cream. $15 was not worth it because I didn’t pay that to get my skin removed!

I booked late in the week and was quickly accommodated. I was served by Maddie and she did a great job, very professional, kind and expedient.

I went to get my thirds pierced as a birthday present here, yes the staff was nice but for some reason my ears got really infected after and I had followed the cleaning procedures twice daily. My ears were so bad to the point where I had to get both cut out professionally, the doctor then told me it was because the studs they put into my ears were not cleaned. Never ever getting piercings done there again.
