Such a great school! Can highly recommend. Three of my children went there and all of them loved their time there.nTeaching staff were supportive and attentive.nIn particular Mr Jones, who helped my son transition into prep and have an amazing experience during his first year of school.nMr Jones then supported my son again in Year 2 when he was having some issues settling into a new class. Mr Jones went out of his way to help my son, even though he wasn’t his classroom teacher at the time. Mr Jones’ level of care and concern was greatly appreciated and truly helped my son that year. They formed a lovely bond that we still talks about to this day. He’s now 14!nThanks Mr Jones for being his favourite teacher.nnMr Kent and Miss Taylor were also teachers who showed so much kindness and care and went above and beyond to support our family and children. A wonderful school, with many happy memories and lasting relationships made.
I’ve been waiting to write this review and I think it’s time now to expose the school for what it is.nMy son was bullied on and off for 5 years by one particular problem kid.nOriginally there was a different principle who helped with this issue but once he left I had to deal with Kate a two faced principle who was nice to your face but fake behind closed doors.. Not only did she do nothing but also allowed Mr Jones to remain at the school with his disgusting behaviour towards my son and myself. I had asked Mr Jones on one occasion to not to grab my son and his response was “ I'm going to walk away from this situation like your husband walked away from you I’m sure you are used to it by now. “ After being spoken to like this i was upset like any parent would be and I was the one who was kicked out of the school premises for two months with no apology nothing from Mr Jones nor did I find out what they did about his behaviour. Kate also decided it was ok to tell other parents about this incident which was inappropriate and frankly no one’s business. My son had also been called the N word by this particular boy last year and even with proof of this being said by several kids the boy was not suspended. This kid had so many incidents over the years there was too many to count and not once was he suspended. 10 days went by with this incident with no acknowledgment from the school on how they would protect my child which was a disgrace.nThe behaviour of this kid and some teachers especially the principle Kate and Mr Jonesn teacher only fueled my anger and rage and I’m so glad I don’t have to see any of these teachers again in my life. Not only did I have to defend my son with this boy calling me names. it’s an absolute disgrace that they did not protect him.nAlso every week they are asking for fund raising money and that was annoying in itself but there was speculation going around the school that the bullies parents donated a large amount of money to the school in exchange for dealing with their sons behaviour and him never being suspended. So many incidents that took place with this kid but no suspensions ever !!nI will always defend my son no matter what the cost is especially when the school I’m supposed to trust fails him.nI really hope no one has to go through what we went through with this school was an absolute nightmare and I wouldn’t recommend this school ever and it’s a shame because I did like the school at one point in time.
Fantastic school. Teachers awesome but growing way to fast and the teacher student ratios not manageable. School growing to big to quickly to provide individual attention to students.nThey dont deal with bullying issues very well. Not suited for any one with mild disabilities. The claim to have zero bullying, but that is not true.
School is bursting at the seams, extra portables were placed on kids basketball area, too many classes with time share teachers, numeracy and literacy levels below standards overall. Have had to be pro active to get any issues or concerns dealt with but have mostly been happy when done so.
This school was decent but the some of the teachers were strict and the principal only wants your money. Overall I would give it 2 stars.
