"Escape Skin & Body formerly Escape Beauty Lounge was established in October 2002. Our small salon was converted from a Russian Restaurant and housed 4 rooms, 2 nail desks and 2 Therapists. By 2008, and with a team of 9 staff members, we had outgrown our salon and decided to expand.In 2009 we began Stage 1 of major renovations. In April 2010 we commenced Stage 2 of renovations and relocated our entire business to another location so the entire salon could be gutted. In 2019 Escape Beauty Lounge was completely transformed and a new era began as Escape Skin & Body..."

I brought the special microdermabrasion, hydrating facial and LED light facial. Normally $239 but paid $97. I have had plenty of facials in the past, the process to be relaxing and having wind down time while getting the pamper. My appointment  at 12:15, and I expected it to go for a minimal 45 mins. I didnt ask about the time frame because I have never had to in previous places and just presumed . The whole process consult, me getting undressed , the facial, getting dressed when I checked my phone it was 12:38. I had a facial for less then 20 mins ! I felt that i didn’t get a full face coverage with the facial eg she went around my jaw line, my nose, my eyebrows and finished at my temples.my cleanse , microdermabrasion , face mask and the led light was less then 5 mins each. It was rushed and not relaxing . And it cost just a short of $100. I defiantly felt ripped off.Service:&nbsp;Skin treatments

My Daughter got her tan done here for her leavers dinner, the lady was lovely and made her feel very comfortable. Highly recommendService:&nbsp;Tanning

Just got the worst experience in Hobart!!!!!!!! Everyone,  be careful!!!!!!!!!! The products in this shop have had expired but they still sale them I bought this Ultraceuticals last week23 April 2019, when I checked it at home, I found it had expiredexp 04/19!!!!!! I never open it and used it because it has expired. I came to the shop on 26 April, the staff said I must wait for another staff back to return or exchange and the date was 1 May. I accepted it. HOWEVER, Today1 May 2019, a lady, the owner of the shop, said I could NOT get the refund under the policy. Is it fair!!!!!!! 1the owner did NOT apologise for this fault before I provided 2the expired products are not just one that they sold to me. There are a lot still on display. 3when I accepted to exchange a new one, she even grabbed the product that has been used to me and lied that it was new 4when I took photos with the shop background as evidence, she even threatened me she would let me go unless I delete the photo. I accept that if I take photos of the staff, I need to get permission, so I deleted the photos of people. But when I took photos of background,  her reason was she didn't want the background with the expired product. So I want a expired product that can't be refunded

Tylah is so welcoming and I felt so relaxed during my treatments. She does an amazing job and clearly knows what she is doing. Would recommend

Tylah was amazing! So knowledgeable, friendly and precise! She took great care of me whilst I had a wax and a facial. The wax was quick and painless. The facial was relaxing and thorough. Tylah showed a great interest in my skin and was very helpful. As I was visiting from QLD, she also offered great tips for my holiday. I'd recommend her to anyone!Services:&nbsp;Waxing

Rang up the morning i was flying out and was lucky to get a spot for a delux manicure. My nails look great  i had broken most of them n chipped the polish on my tours. The massage for my hands n wrist was heavenly. who knew i could hold so much tension there. Even better as i had checked from hotel n had a extra 40 mins to fill in before it was time for the skybus they let me sit n dry my nails until it was time go. As i'm disabled and cant stand on my feet for very long this was very much appreciated.

My absolute self indulgent treat . Staff listen and do not push products that they will gain from . My experiences have been beyond five star . I walk out a different woman and I feel not only my skin healed but inner beauty . AMY and EFFIE are awesome humans and they listen and give more than what I booked an appointment for especially kind when one me don’t really enjoy looking at myself in the mirror . Love the smells and just refreshing being in the presence of people that generally care .

Nice looking place but way overpriced for a 30 min massage, unfortunately wont be back.
