Second time visiting here and seriously great food.. they gave us bread for free as well! How nice of them! We devoured the food. Loved how we could try so many dishes as the portions were just the right size. Great place to enjoy the company of others, get a little tipsy and be happy with delicious food!
Our group of five at work went for team lunch. Some in the group had special dietary requirements but we could order which met everyone's requirements. The food and service was good. There is a good choice of drinks too. The price was reasonable. We thought that there was too much olive oil in the food but it's an individual preference.
Delicious food, very fresh and restaurant quality. The wait times for tapas food however left much to be desired. This place is a bit on the pricey side, but if you pop a bottle you will have a nice night and barely notice the wrinkles.
Stopped by for a quick lunch, way to get to location- we enjoyed our lunch outside under the umbrellas. Lunch fare was simple but absolutely delicious, quality ingredients that are prepared well. Fresh baguette and super tasty fillings. The sangria was also to die for! One of the best I have ever had- refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend
Stopped in and got lucky as they just had a cancellation. Great service and incredible food. Started with manchego cheese and toasted sourdough starter. We just went with a couple of tapas, the garlic prawns and the meatballs did just the trick and were a great send off to my first trip to Sydney. In love with Sydney and when I come back Encasa is high on my list…but for paella after seeing all the amazing dishes going by me.
Lovely restaurant that can accommodate large groups ! A lot of variety of dishes on the menu. The stand-out dishes for me were the garlic mushrooms and scallops. The paella was to share between 3 we had a group of 7, it was a very generous serving, so definitely order a smaller size if you are ordering other dishes. The food took a long time to out, but it was a Saturday night. I would go again if I struggle to find somewhere last minute to eat in the city, but I don't think i'd crave the food.
We underestimated the quantity of food so had to take home some. Their Gambas is fantastic. We ordered mushrooms, calamari, meatballs, salad and they were all good. One unfortunate thing is that they brought the meatball way too late after we finished the meal so we ended up eating that home.
I could say that after trying a few Spanish restaurants around Sydney this is one of the best ones. I am always a little bit sceptical about Spanish food in Sydney but I really liked it. Tapas were delicious and the portions were quite decent. It is a little bit pricy though. Staff is very friendly and kind. David I'll be back for sure.
So disappointed by the place overall. The food was very low quality despite big quantities. The service was quite slow and not very organised we had the set many and we thought it was over when the calamari came The sound proofing was very bad and there was no music but we could not hear each other.
Pancho Bocadillos Fried chicken Sando is amazing. Crunch/Fresh bread goes with the also-crunch/favourful crumbed chicken, topped with the crunch bacon, it's a Crunch Concordiae! Their dinner is also really good, remember to bring all your friends to share with as many Patas as possible!
