New York Deli on wheels meets Sydney with delectable sandwiches such as the world-famous Reuben, hot pastrami and mustard, & the classic New York hot dog.

Story

New York Pastrami Deli (NYPD) is the brainchild of Ben Siderowitz. After high school Ben studied a bachelor of business degree and worked in Sports and Events marketing, as well as running his own tennis coaching business.
“ I always loved cooking from a young age and had a passion to be involved with food growing up”, says Ben.
Having grown up with European grandparents, Ben was immersed in a world of flavours and dishes that have now become popular throughout New York and the World, due to the immigration of Eastern Europeans.
The meat NYPD uses is all made in a small family owned meat factory, with the Brisket being smoked at home with an old family recipe.
“I wanted to bring the tastes of New York deli food to Sydney whilst still using the best ingredients Australia has to offer”, says Ben.
By using the concept of a food truck, Ben gets to personally bring his New York menu to people all around Sydney.
With classic dishes such as the Reuben, Pastrami on Rye and Chicken and Matzah ball soup, Sydney is about to get a great taste of New York!
