Story

The Empire Eatery is fully licensed and offers a wide range of local and international beer, wine and spirits. We are proud to be serving locally brewed Tuatara on tap.
Our menu includes a wide range of daily-made cabinet food, Italian inspired small plates and meatballs, a weekend brunch menu and treats like gelato and classic popcorn.
All food and beverages can be enjoyed in the eatery or taken into the cinema to savour as you watch your movie.

Great spot if you are used to the cinemas closer to central Wellington, easy to get to on public transport and nice comfortable seating in the theatre. Would recommend!

Good cafe with a short but interesting menu, excellent coffee, and fluffies or ice cream for the kids. Our two year old grandson loves it

Excellent place to eat and see a movie. Comfortable, stylish even. Nice ice cream, even if the queue is a little chaotic. Plenty of free parking on the street.

3 screens, not huge but good sound and big enough for size of theatres. Easy on street parking and if you feel like it short walk to beach.
