Fidels Cafe

One of Wellingtons best cafes - have been going here from more than 20 years. Great food and coffee, with friendly staff located in really neat / quirky historic buildings.

Relaxed atmosphere, interesting space, what we had was very yummy Spanish baked eggs. Staff was nice and bonus that you can vape! The only minus is that we ordered juices thinking they are freshly made, but they were from small bottles... $8 for a few sips.

Had coffee and a muffin in the morning everything was amazing. Muffin was still slightly warm from the oven and coffee was one of the best I've tasted ever. Waitress that brang my coffee and muffin was kinda cute... 5 stars all round!

Pretty standard fare for Cuba St, always packed out for brunch at weekends. Good vegan options. Coffee and food service can be slow esp on public holidays.

The place is so packed that I didn't dare to move. Prepare to starve before your food comes Cos serving time is very long during lunch time. Food is good but not surprisingly good.

We’ve met friends for lunch and were impressed with coffees and meals, as well as this place’s quirky décor. Nachos were superb and the flat white is hard to match. A great fit to Cuba Street This place has the best coffee I had in Wellington, the grooviest vibe and great music. highly recommend

Brilliant birthday brunch. I got waffles with bacon, banana and maple syrup. Partner got the big breakfast. Yum as food, lovely service even got a free coffee for my birthday. Best coffee in Wellington. Wish their venue was bigger as lots of people visit and it’s a bit cramped. highly recommend
