front desk cashier with glasses has no manners at all. when you see her face, it's not welcoming or peaceful and just full of hatred. no hi, no bye, no smile, no thank you, i dont know how she got the job over there!!. dont waste your money in this place, customers should be treated way much better than she does, she doesnt care about customers, doesnt give attention, impatiently response and worst is flirting with the guys in the shop during work.

Hate to give this place a bad review, been coming here for years and could happily spend hours lost in this store. Despite that, I do think they need to improve their customer service a bit. Went in to donate a bunch of books to them recently and was met with silence and a blank stare when I asked the girl at the front desk if they still take donations. Taking the silence as a no I start to say "thanks anyway, have a good day" etc and retreat to find somewhere else to donate my books, and she replies with "I can't give you cash for those, you'll have to go somewhere else". Explaining that I don't want any money, I want to donate them, she resigns herself to looking at my books. I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable at this point. She hasn't so much as cracked a smile, and to say she looked at me with disinterest would be the nicer way of putting it. Believe me, as a worker in customer service myself, I definitely do not expect staff to grin ear to ear just because i'm a customer. But in saying that, i'm definitely not used to absolutely no attempt at a friendly gesture being made at all, the whole time. I'm feeling pretty unwelcome to say the least, and just a nuisance to this girl's day. Then, searching through the boxes, she actually scoffed and snorted at them as she pulled each one out. I tried to laugh it off, as they were predominantly kids books (like the Tomorrow Series), so maybe she thought that they were fresh off my bedside table, and that I still read at a year 5 level. Nevertheless I was pretty shocked. I'm here to donate, and despite these books obviously not being in my personal taste either (as i'm donating them....), I didn't really appreciate the overt derision, and her judgement over books I was there to >donate

Decent bookstore selling second hand books. You can find books of different categories here. The only bookstore around this area.
