*****BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY****** My partner recently dropped a very expensive dress to E-laundry for dry cleaning at Clayfield where the garment was inspected with the only noticeable mark on the dress being noted in the receipt. Upon picking up the dress, it was very badly damaged, with marks all over the collar and sleeves. Upon advising E-Laundry of the damage, they initially tried to claim that the damage was existing when it was dropped to them. When it was pointed out that the dress had notes about the condition of the dress when it was dropped, E-Laundry again tried to claim that they dont always pick up on damage and it must have been missed on the inspection and that they werent responsible for damage. Their staff through this process were extremely rude and combative and made this process very difficult, clearly in attempt to not honour their obligations but after months of following up they reluctantly agreed to try and repair the dress. after several months of repeatedly following up, we were finally sent photos of the dress which seem to show the damage had been repaired however upon picking the dress up, it was clear that they were selective in the angles that they showed in the photos as it was still damaged. When it was pointed out to the staff member that was serving us that it was still damaged, we were told we would need to take it up with Marina at Stones Corner. It took several attempts to get hold of Mariana to let her know the dress was still damaged and despite her attempts walk away from the issue, she reluctantly acknowledged they would need to get some 'compensation papers' together which would take her several days. Another week passed without hearing from them and after having to follow up again, I received a text advising they would not be providing any compensation. I tried multiple times to communicate with them only to be told to take it up with the Dry Cleaning Associated and that they wouldn't be doing anything further.
Delivered 2 jumpers 1 scarf - no docket and 20 minutes wait Went to pick up on stated date - not ready Went back the following day to pick up, a wet jumper smelling musty, the second jumper was never cleaned and neither was the scarf So 3 hours and $32 invested in a very rude, hostile experience, I am sorry you are short staffed as per your notice but this treatment was beyond the pale. Feel free to give me my money back!Service: Cleaning
I have been using their ironing services for years. The constant lack of time management has finally sent me elsewhere. I have lost count how many times I’ve come on the day on the receipt to pick up ironing and then been told it’s not ready like it’s no big deal. We were asked to hand in the shirts unbuttoned and off the hanger easy thing to do by one employee and then on another visit got “told off” for doing this and saying the shirts are too crumpled and makes it hard for them to iron. You’re an ironing company why is it too hard to iron a crumpled shirt.Service: Ironing

Lack of communication and my doona came back home with more stains on it then when I sent it in.
Incredibly poor service. Clothes were due on Tue @ 3pm, went passed on Wed before work and after 15 minutes clothes could not be located - no jacket for work that day. Promised to call when clothes were found. By Sunday morning no call, went in at 9, shop meant to be open but was still closed . Went passed again at 10, shop open and clothes found - no apology, no discount. Stay Away.Service: Cleaning
Have been using them since 2015 and they are always diligent and deliver when they say they will. Today for the first time ever I had a problem regarding some alterations and I was impressed with how the manager addressed it.Services: Cleaning
I have never met anyone as rude and obnoxious as the manager/ owner of this dry cleaner. She hung up on me when I complained about the tea stain on my doona. It came back exactly the same as when I put it in. I could have washed it myself for a better job and saved the $47. I wonder if it was even cleaned as it certainly didn’t smell fresh. Save yourself the unpleasantness and go somewhere else
I have never had a problem until today when we retrieved a Velvet Jacket with shell buttons. Now several buttons are smashed. elaundry touts itself as a specialist. Wedding dress cleaning etc. It is what makes them "special". Special jackets with special buttons is not something they have not seen before. On the contrary, they stated that it always occurs. Really? wouldn't that be an alarm bell worth mentioning? They have offered to sow on new bttons if I can locate them. What would have been great would be to 1. call me and advise that they reservations or 2. if they just missed it, call me when they found out that damage had been done. We could have worked out a solution. No, wait for the customer to come in and tell them then. What I have now is a jacket needing repair before wearing. elaundry need to lift their game.Service: Cleaning
