Great wee bar / restaurant...seriously loved the relaxing vibe with the ocean view! We had some afternoon drinks and nibbles and tbh I could have happily chilled there for the rest of the day. Authentic Mexican with a great food and selection of drinks. And if you like your Tequila...you have a huge selection of the real stuff. Staff were fantastic and attentive. No mess was left unattended by the staff. Just loved the place and the vibe...my missus and I will be back!

I had a great time at this bar! The food was delicious and the bartender was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and a fun atmosphere. Try the El Mexican cocktail. Really good

The spicy margaritas, cauliflower tacos and overall vibe and ambiance are unmatched! My mother is Mexican and this is the only place she likes to visit in Perth because she says it’s so authentic. Also, the staff are all so lovely.

Awesome little bar/restaurant by the beach that does some really nice Mexican inspired food and drinks. Definitely one of the best steak burritos I’ve ever had!  Turns into a lively bar with DJs or live music and sometimes stand up comedy in the evenings on some nights.  When the weather is nice it can get pretty busy and the food can take a while, but the venue is really nice there’s always a good vibe.

Good bar for a quick drink in the day. Saterdsthry usually have a pretty decent dj on at night. Not keen on the Friday night and the bands

Nachos were really tasty but paid $19 for a small size bowl. Quesadilla wasn’t even quesadilla with those vegs on top, mentioned without spicy but they were full of chilli. Average place!

This awesome place has very decent beef burrito. Flavour is just mint. Made with love every time. My top fav in Perth.

Came here with a friend who has various dietary restrictions. Brice and the kitchen were amazing and went above and beyond to help her figure out what they can make and what she could order. The food was amazing and very reasonable priced. Highly recommend El Grotto if you are in the area!

If you like Mexican food, you will love this place. Located on Scarborough beach front, they offer tasty cocktails and mocktails plus the food is tasty.  If you go for lunch on the weekend, you usually don’t need a booking. Bonus point, they are kid friendly and have high chairs.

Terrible service. Got our order wrong the first time, meals come at different times and when we had missing items they said they would rush the order and it still took ages to come. One person left awkwardly waiting an hour for food. Supposedly grande tacos to share between 2-3 people was very small serving and disappointing. Food tastes nice enough, but pack your patience and double check your order if you go!
