Edge of the Bay Resort is a boutique resort on the Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania's East Coast. A privately owned property consisting of 14 Oceanview Suites, 7 secluded Cottages and 'The Edge Restaurant'; on 30 acres of beach front overlooking Great Oyster Bay and 'The Hazards' mountains.

Superb - and we've stayed in both cottages and suites. We've been coming here for many years and now the grand children love it too. The best part is that the view of The Hazards is private from each accomm place, and the restaurant is first class with excellent staff. Much better than the property across the water, which has limited views unless you're in the restaurant or on the deck. Even then you can't see The Hazards, only water. We love going to Freycinet Lodge for lunch but the views from Edge of the Bay when you wake up are unique. The private beaches are beautiful and it truly is special.

Amazing place. Cabins are spacious and well equipped. Food at restaurant excellent.

Good hotel with well laid out rooms and great access to the beach. Restaurant is very expensive and not much else to eat in town apart from the local pub

It is absolute worthy and even more than you would expect. Fantastic room service (but no tooth paste and tooth bush). Beautiful views and very peaceful native atmosphere.
