Edge Geelong is always a pleasant experience. You walk in, find a seat, and immediately feel the relaxing breeze from the beach under a peaceful roof. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back and enjoy the weather without needing to move, just scan, pay, and wait as your order comes to you.nnThe team is friendly, the environment is clean and calming, and the food is consistently good. Whether you’re after a quiet coffee break or a relaxed meal with a view, this place ticks the boxes. What more could you want? I’ll definitely be back again.
My friends and fam said this place was the best, so my wife and I checked it out. It's a pretty big spot, but the menu's tiny, especially for vegetarians. The prices are high 'cause of where it is, but the portions are huge! We got a cheese and garlic pizza and potato wedges with sweet aioli and sour cream, and it was easily enough for 3 or 4 people. I'm giving it 3 stars just 'cause of the lack of veggie options, but the service and vibe were great and chill when we were there.
It was recommended to come to Edge for a great meal. We'd hadn't been down to Geelong foreshore for some time, until the Mrs had a job to run some training here so I tagged along for the drive. We came in and ordered the special of 4x dishes for 55. We ordered the Calamari, pulled pork sliders, vegetarian spring rolls and the pumpkin arancini balls were all excellent and they all hit the spot. Will def dine here again next time we're in Geelong.
Loud music, felt a bit like a night club in their defence it was a Saturday night but it did make it hard to have a conversation.nI was hoping for a slightly better food experience but left feeling a bit underwhelmed unfortunately. Most will find the food suitable but given the restaurant location, styling and good customer service the food didn't match. Customer service was the best part of our dining experience. Food came out quite quickly as well. 6.5/10.
We went here for breakfast on a beautiful Sunday morning. Sitting in the al fresco area with a mild breeze was delightful. There is a good choice of brekky items available and freshly squeezed orange juice if you like that! The food was very nice and hit the spot perfectly before we went back to Melbourne. Would we return? Absolutely!
