Very disappointed our experience here has been the worst veterinary service we have ever encountered. We went in Monday afternoon after our dog swallowed a fish hook, we were grateful when they said they could help - they took 2 X-rays (no sedation) and charged us $470. We were told: 'the hook is in the dogs stomach, feed him some bread and the hook will come out on its own accord and is very unlikely to cause further issues'. We thought that doesn't sound right - how would a sharp hook work its way through a dogs intestine. The next day we called two other vets and were told to get the dog in for surgery asap. Luckily we did as it saved our dogs life, btw Wallan vet only charged $170 for two X-rays. Overpriced and dangerously poor advice!
