It's a beautiful spot and the place has some sort of a vibe. Personally, I am not a big fan of their services. I've sat down and it took them 15-minutes to acknowledge me and gave some water. No menu has been offered or anything. I tried to ask a waiter but they just walked straight passed. After 25' Minutes I finally got someone giving me a menu. Please note, this was before the reserved table guests came in. The food was quite good. Bit small portions for what you pay, but I expected that considering the location. All together, I think it's a pretty venue with a pleasant vibe. Music on background wasn't too loud or overpowering. Just disappointed with the services especially for a non-busy morning. It be great if you next time could acknowledge your guests a bit earlier.
The view of the bay is stunning, the food is amazing. I didn’t really like the coffee that much. The Mussels were delicious. Halloumi salad was a little blend. The team in there were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to explore other things on the menu.
Great food and service. Everyone was really nice. The tables are well spaced. We were lucky with the weather. I've been there when it has been raining and it's not pleasant. It's a bit nicer, tidier than previous visits too so that's good. Much improved. I had the Hallumi salad and it was delicious. Highly recommend it.
My experience was lovely, every staff member was very friendly and helpful, but 1 staff member in particular his customer service was excellent from start to end He's name is Jason he was looking after a table today. The food was delicious the coffee and hot chocolate was very creamy and fresh. Thank you!! Keep the amazing work
Such an amazing Italian restaurant by the water. Ambience is lovely and the view is great. Food is just average. However the steaks are beautifully cooked, tender and juicy. Staffs are friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately something seems to have gone downhill in the last year. Still a great view, but the food was decidedly average, particularly for the price point. Presentation was good. Poached eggs as part of the benedict though were overcooked to the point of hard boiled and looked like they came from a machine see photos. So simple to poach an egg properly - it’s still amazing when places can’t do it properly. Stranger still is the move to try and make everything French. From the strange menu with a few made up words to the music. We’re not in the south of France - the lance was perfectly fine as it was. Not sure we’ll be back if this is what it’s become. There are better places to go.
A beautiful and hidden restaurant located in Roseville. The restaurant offers stunning views of the marina and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I was greeted by the tranquil setting of the marina. The stunning views can be enjoyed from the travelator that takes you right down to the restaurant's entrance. The decor is decent, and the food was not too bad either. We had the best seat of the house right by the jetty. The view definitely helped downing some drinks. We ordered the beef carpaccio and the seafood pasta. Although the flavors were not as bold and imaginative as I had hoped, the beef carpaccio was enjoyable with a beautiful presentation but the pasta was bland and unremarkable. In terms of service, it was excellent. The wait staff were attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was pleasant. The restaurant has a great wine list. I’m sure the staff will be able to make excellent recommendations. Echo on the Marina is a great option if you're looking for a unique dining experience with stunning views. The food is decent, and the service is excellent. Give it a go if you're in the area.
It's in a nice spot. Nobody can disagree with that. It has great smiling staff that do their job diligently and quickly even when they are flat out. I was there for lunch and ordered medium rare sirloin steak that was......well....tough. I was surprised becouse I was expecting better.... Especially since the night before I had cooked a slow baked leg of lamb which was very tender.
Initially, I was tempted to rate this restaurant/coffee shop quite high. Staff was helpful, responsive and friendly. The food was tasty although not many variety avialble. However, taste and presentation was very good. The dessert was mediocre. Tiramisu was relatively dry and the pistaccio mascarpone was too sticky - nto mascarpone at all. Unfortunately, even more, the lettuce used was not fresh and not clean enough. It was even placed deep in the burger that the customer would not notice it easily. I saw that only because I tent to deconstruct the burgers. Very unpleasant. I like the place, I liked the staff, I liked even the drinks and the food in general.
Father’s Day embarrassment and extraordinary rip-off. I booked early on and was not aware that a special Father’s Day menu at $80 head for 2 courses was introduced after my booking. There were only a choice of 3 options for entree and main. Anyway we went with the flow thinking that the food would match the price. The kids meal $22.50 for the kids chicken schnitzel and chips was Steggles out of the packet! When we asked the waiter what was this grey looking “meat” it did not look like chicken, more like grey processed mince from a sausage roll, he was honest and said it was a bad piece from the Steggles frozen box! $22.50 for that? There was no apology and no offer to serve her pasta instead. The rest of the meals were a 5/10 or 6/10 at best. But when you are paying $80 for 2 pieces of rockmelon wrapped in one piece of prosciutto and a steak which remarkably was not bad- the score should be lower, as they were hardly worth that extortion. So apart from our daughter not being served a proper meal on Father’s Day, the lack of the restaurant trying to correct or improve our experience- they simply did not care to remedy even the offer of free coffee would have been a nice low cost gesture? will make us never go back but rather tell all to avoid. What a shame! It’s a bit of a hike down and up the stairs, the only plus is the setting and the view. I rarely post bad reviews, especially in current times when finding staff is tough- however for this cafe to have the balls to impose a very substandard and overpriced Father’s Day 2 course meal, they really should just stick to serving coffee. You only have a certain amount of cafe/restaurant meals in your lifetime, and we walked away feeling very disappointed and ripped-off. This is not how you want to celebrate Father’s Day. This is just greed and perhaps desperation. If this continues, the place will barely survive. Sadly, even some of the waiting staff seemed to know that their offering was poor quality and value but were not in a position to say or do much! I hope this review will be read by the Owner and uses the feedback constructively before it’s too late.
