If you are heading for Rottnest Island and driving. Find the ferry terminal, buy your tickets and ask for all day parking which is only $10 for full day parking till 8pm at the Sheds. We paid $21 for full day parking by the road.
It is very hard to find where the zone 4 is. Not enough signs for that. We were almost late while finding the zone 4. Could not find it. Parked at zone 3. Paid zone 4 online before arrive. Frustrating
It's only parking for four hours just want to give someone a ticket
Really disappointed. I paid for six hours of parking, and because I came back six hours and five minutes later, I received a massive fine. The reason I was late was because my friends car had been broken into in the same parking lot! They have enough guards to fine people within five minutes but not enough to actually protect the cars there? When I came back to my car, my ticket had been expired for seven minutes. In that time, the inspector had come, given me the ticket, and disappeared! When we tried to find an inspector, even though I had received the ticket less than two minutes before, we couldn't find them anywhere in the parking lot. All I can think is that the parking inspector must have been sitting there waiting to give my car a ticket and taken off the second they did. When I pay for parking, especially from a security company, I'm expecting at least some care to be taken. I am massively disappointed and will not be parking in any Wilson parking from now on.
Do not park here, it's a tourist trap. The parking rangers will watch the time displayed on your parking ticket. As long as there is a chance to issue a ticket worthed $65, they will do it. Not sure if they are earning any commission for each tickets issues or they are trying to fight for the best serviceman for the month.
We visited the Maritime Museum and parked out front of it in what we assumed was their parking lot. When we came back to the car we had a ticket for $65! We had no idea it was even a for pay lot. There were no signs when you pulled in, nothing at the front of the parking space. We found down in the middle of the island a pay station, but no other signage. You could not see the pay station from where the car was parked. I felt very much like they make their money off of not informing the public of the need to pay. The Museum itself was wonderful but the rip off parking left a bad taste.
The only cheap parking in the city! Out of everything we looked at, this parking is definitely somewhere I would choose to come back. It is around $12.50 for the whole day and is a short walk from Hay Street. The car park also has toilets which are very clean!
One of my favourite spots to park off with a beer, then the old history of the place comes to the fore, alive.....nostalgia...people have come and go for a century...and so Will you. A cosy romantic place to park off with a lover, and take a stroll and feel this lonely place.
I feel sorry for tourists who hire cars .this is a huge company when buying a parking ticket you must enter the number plate of you vehicle and the ticket or fine is $65 so be aware
I put money in the meter here and came back to find a ticket, have been fighting with them for 2 months now to get it reversed, they want the number of the machine and the exact time - who keeps note of these things when popping coins into a meter???
