I commenced with Duo Pilates about 4 months ago.  This was after a long search, and I was delighted to find Alex in my local area!  I currently attend two private reformer sessions and as many mat classes as I can fit in per week.  Alex’s classes are tough with a strong focus on technique and correction which is important to me.  Classes are enjoyable and I can honestly say I look forward to every class! Over the past 4 months I have gained strength, fitness and flexibility and feel the strongest I have felt in a long time. Thanks for the great classes Alex and I look forward to attending many more to come!  Highly recommend!

I came into my first Pilates class with very little confidence in my abilities and with an extreme anterior pelvic tilt that caused me a lot of back pain. I didn't actually mention this but Alex caught on straight away and has continued to guide me through the classes which has made me aware of correcting my tilt even outside of class. She makes sure everyone in the class feels comfortable and her knowledge is AMAZING! Love the classes and couldn't recommend Alex or Duo highly enough. X

I first tried Duo Pilates in August, and as a first timer I was very nervous about giving it a go. I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience! Alex was extremely welcoming and supportive. Alex's passion of Pilates is evident through her ability to personalise every class to suit all the different fitness levels and also to ensure that everybody is applying the correct technique in each activity. I have always felt welcome in every class I have attended. I highly recommend Duo Pilates for anybody wishing to try Pilates, it is a very warm and welcoming environment!

I really neglected my health and fitness after having my son so joined a gym and had regular sessions with a PT, but I felt I needed something more to get some more focussed results and that’s when I found Duo Pilates and I have never looked back. I was amazed at what a personal service Alex gives each of her clients, picking up on everyone’s individual strengths and weaknesses. I have terrible neck pain which Alex is helping me work on constantly to help my posture and deal with over straining my neck. I felt so much better after just a few sessions and saw results after just a few weeks. I can’t recommend Duo Pilates highly enough for anyone wanting to either start some form of exercise or add something to an existing fitness plan whether that be the classes or the personal sessions there is something to meet your needs. I’m a big fan of both!
