ORANGE IS THE NEW STACK — Loved my pancakes!!! If you’re looking for something cheery and light, order this. Flavours totally came through. Nothing to complain about the food except too much burnt orange curd. Pancakes could be fluffier but overall happy w my meal! Service wise — waitresses were absolutely lovely but the food and coffee took too long to come. Long mac was not too bad.
If you don't know, you now have no excuse. Duck Duck Bruce is one of the best places I have been to for breakfast! I cannot verbally describe how well this team works together, to deliver an unforgettable experience. Such an invigorating way to start the day!
Overall it was a really nice morning. The food was great. Flavours were quite unique but very tasty. Highly recommend. Was quite busy when we went there and waited a little for a table and for service but it was worth it.Food: 5/5
Dec 2022: one of the best breakfast places in Freo. No reservations so it’s a walk in first come first serve system. Had the orange is the new stack wonderful!! and no regrets even though scrambled eggs would be my first choice for breakfast :Recommended dishesOrange and Poppy Seed Pancakes
The vibe, the food ,the staff experience was amazing. Such a lovely ambience. Has in-house amenities. Take away is available. All 3 of our meals were generous and delicious. Cosy without feeling crowded.
Delicious food!! A must try if you’re looking for a tasty brunch in Freo. The orange is the new stack pancakes are thick & fluffy & like nothing I’ve tasted before. Menu is a little smaller than other cafes but you’re getting top quality food. Highly recommend!
The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the coffee was exactly what we needed. Duck Duck Bruce is a busy little place but the atmosphere was great. My friend even bought some coffee beans to take home as a gift.
Been here a few times and I’m never disappointed! The interior and staff are lovely and the food is super, but a little pricey! Had to wait a little while each time, but the cafe was very busy and popular so it’s understandable. Would definitely recommend for a lovely Sunday brunch
Great little cafe with plenty of tasty options, fresh juices and very good coffee. Better to grant a booking or arriving early in the morning. There's always a line of people waiting so be prepared for a 20-30 min wait.Food: 5/5
Finally managed to book a table here with friends on my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Can highly recommend the pancakes service was great, prices were very reasonable and location was perfect. Can’t wait to work my way through the rest of the menu!Recommended dishesOrange Pancakes
