Don Kebab seems like a confused takeaways/restaurant. The decor seemed more and more confused the longer I sat there. The customer service was friendly and welcoming and the food was really delightful. The salad with the lamb on fries was so fresh and the lamb was not greasy and tender. I would definitely return again!
$15 for a supposedly "LARGE" Lamb doner. Woman who served me had appalling customer service and a face like a smacked ar*e. Not toasted, very little meat, no tomatoes. AVOID
Being Christmas eve our normal Fenton St Turkish eatery was closed so tried this business for the first time. Well people on Rotorua east side are very lucky to have access to this high quality eatery that makes superb Iskender meals. Nice atmosphere with friendly, kind lady serving me & was also given some free, sweet seasonal treats. Many thanks & Merry Christmas Highly recommended Steve Franklin Pukehangi Rotorua
This food is awesome. The guy who took my order was horrible. Very rude and poor attitude.there were 2 guys, the one with cap is always good. The other one who is shorter than cap guy was so rude I love Don Kebab since 2015 and i know the owner changed. Don is still delicious but this customer service is big issue that they need to consider. That is why i give 4 stars.
Amazing Turkish food. Tasted like Doner Kebobs I had in Turkey. Owners are very nice and welcoming. Would definitely go back.
This has always been my favorite, tried the one lynmore junction as it's closest twice and was not impressed, keep up the good food
Delicious food and amazing service. We had lamb and chicken kebabs, they are one of the best in New Zealand. A strong Turkish coffee after the meal is highly recommended. We will definitely come back. Thanks.
HALAL / NOT HALAL ??!! When I entered there was two hard working staff as the place was a bit busy, approached an Indian looking man and asked him if their food is Halal certified?, he looked at his colleague who is asian looking and telling him that I’m asking if the food is Halal!! The asian guy tells me that it is Halal, i asked him that i want to see the certificate, he quickly went to open the cashier machine drawer and look between the pages of a notebook that was in that drawer for few seconds then he apologized politely and told me that he can’t find it. Well, If it’s Halal, the certificate would be hung on the wall with all the required details for any kind of verification not in the drawer so i guess with that fact in mind plus the fact that a worker their wasn’t sure if it is Halal or not says it all. I understand that a town and a place like that doesn’t rely on the Muslim community as their isn’t many who live their, however transparency is important no matter what. Please be aware!!! This post would be deleted upon getting a copy of your halal certificate or a confirmation that you aren’t a Halal restaurant and any other review on any other social media based applications. Bad customer service and cold food I will not recommend this place to anyone the chips was half over fried
