We needed something quick and delicious— very happy to have found this spot! The man behind the counter was so nice and friendly which always makes food taste even better. We got the chicken kebab wrap, lamb Iskender plate, and baklava. We sat outside which was very nice.
Don't order the large kebab unless your super hungry. It's the size of a house! But seriously, the owner is super friendly, and will do his best to accommodate your weird combo requests. The kebabs are dropping with flavour. Would totally eat here again. You should too.

We walked around different cafes on the street and decided to stop at this one. Owned by Turkish family, very nice tasty food, good prices, cooking everything in front of you. And also they are accepting credit cards. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is mentioned in FIANZ New Zealand halal guide, even if it doesn't display halal logo. Reasonable price and the small portion is large enough for me.

I went to Mecca Cafe on Friday 6th Dec and even though it was after 3pm closing time I was still able to order and enjoy a falafel wrap. It was the most delicious I've tasted. Thank you so much. I highly recommend your cafe
