Story

Nestled at the base of Mount Te Aroha in the beautiful Te Aroha Domain is our lovely 100 year old Café. We have stunning views of the Waikato and are located between the mineral spas and the hot pools, so bring the family and make a day of it! We are next to the worlds only hot water guyser and close to the walking, mountain bike tracks and the Hauraki rail trail.
We have an all day breakfast and lunch menu and lovely cabinet food, cakes and slices. We cater for gluten free too.

Nice outside setting overlooking the lawn greens, prompt and friendly service, the prawn salad was very tasty, with lots of dressing and the pasta creamy and rich

I originally found the place because of location, situated right underneath the mountain overlooking domain. When I got there I was amazed by the food and hospitality provided by the 11yr old boy working during school holidays for his parents shop. Superb service by this little boy. The food and coffee was amazing, we are a family of 6 we all ordered different things, service was fast and spot on and we each enjoyed our food. Meatball is super yummy I am so sorry I normally take photos however I was so amazed by the place by the time I remembered to take photos it was too late. I guess you really have to come down and try it out yourself.

Really nice location, we were there on a very cold day so it was lovely to sit by a wood burner but on a warm sunny day there'd be a great view from the deck at the front. Friendly efficient service, food was ok not spectacular but plenty of options and generous portions

We randomly chose this coffee shop after soaking in the hot springs nearby, but it turned out to be a fantastic find. The location is very close to the hot spring store, and through the coffee shop's windows, you can see a nearby small park. The decor of the coffee shop is very retro, and there is a dedicated space for displaying the town's history. This coffee shop must have been here for a long time.nnWe ordered the beef burger and chicken mushroom pasta, as well as the mixed berry smoothie and banana milkshake. The drinks were both visually appealing and delicious. The pasta had a great flavor, with rich cheese. The beef burger was particularly noteworthy, as the bread seemed to be baked by the coffee shop itself, and the beef patty was incredibly juicy. We loved it! We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Te Aroha town. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

I give a 5 star view because that place is amazing. FIRST, the food was delicious and very appetizing. I had the smoked salmon breakfast thing and it was terrific! Secondly I was surprised because that place has chinese food as well so I ordered some too. All the food was great.
