On time for in home appointment, made my curtains really quickly, exactly what I wanted and for less than their competitors. About to have them make me some more curtains. Highly recommend!

The 'drongo' who took the measurements did not even bring a step ladder when measuring 3 meter tall windows. I saw the way he measured it and I had him verbally confirm that these would be "floor to ceiling" curtains. I made it abundantly clear that blocking out sunlight was very important to me - as light disrupts my sleep. The result? "Blockout" curtains that have a 3cm gap between the floor and the curtains. The curtains are not quite wide enough either as some light comes in on the left hand side. If I want them 'fixed' - they would change the curtain hooks (lowering the curtains). This would make more light come in above the curtains and less light below the curtains - which still defeats the purpose of blockout curtains). Other lesser issues: Installation was promised in 4 weeks, it was more like 6 weeks. The curtain pull cord was not affixed in a vertical manner - it is diagonal. The curtain material is lovely, however the measurement and installation has left us very disappointed. We do not recommend DC&B Oakleigh.
