My wife and I recently relocated to Townsville from a small country town. Our main concern was finding new Medical and Dental care in Townsville. I found a Dental Surgery close to my home from the phone book. It was here that I found an excellent Dentist in Dr Dominic Ponti who gave my teeth and gums a thorough examination. In hindsight, this visit proved to be a turning point in my dental care and hygiene. There was evidence of serious gum disease; and all my questions were patiently answered by Dr Ponti and I received very good advice from him about dental care and hygiene. He worked out a plan to improve the obvious problems that I had with my teeth and gums. It was a sensible step-by-step approach, which also was to involve a Peridontics and Dental Implants specialist Dr Ken Crasta. My initial visits focused on eliminating my gum disease. When this segment was completed Dr. Ponti provided a number of options that were available to me. From my discussions with him I was able to make an informed decision on further treatment for my teeth, taking financial considerations into account as well. I now have better teeth than I can ever remember having. I also take more care with my dental hygiene. I would highly recommend Dr Dominic Ponti to any person who is serious about maintaining healthy teeth and gums throughout their lives. I am 73 years old, and I am now taking better care of my teeth than at any other time in my life; thanks to the treatment and good advice I have received from Dr Dominic Ponti. Jim Grainger I would like to say ‘Thank You’ to Dr. Dominic Ponti. I am very happy with the kindness and encouragement I received during my dental procedures performed by Dr Ponti. He is a wonderful and caring Dentist, and I would recommend him to anyone who is afraid of dental work. His work is precise, and I cannot tell you how gentle he was throughout my procedures. I know not many people enjoy the dentist and I am one of them, but having been to Discovery Dental I no longer have the fear or nerves that I used to. These guys and girls are amazing. Truly professional, patient and attentive. A practice that is great for young and old. I wouldn't go anywhere else and couldn't recommend them more highly! Thank you Rob and team.
