Can't give a Zero vote.   I am at home all day I am disabled so can't leave the house.  Found a piece of paper in my door saying we missed you.  They refuse point black to "re-deliver" and now we have to phone another department to book a picking up time next week Tuesday.  What utter bollocks.

According to my consignment tracking number, delivery approximation was 3:30pm on a Friday. Called Direct Freight Express to inquire why delivery was cancelled? I was notified "driver ran out of time, package will be there Monday". 

Called Direct Freight Express Monday morning to inquire why package was still at depot according to consignment tracking number, and after a few hours and a call back, was notified the driver "forgot to pick it up and you'll get it Tuesday". Package finally arrived Tuesday afternoon.

Every delivery has been an unmitigated disaster one way or another. Their incompetency is unrivalled, fortunately I've been able to schedule my own pickups directly from the company I'm ordering from, Blinds Online, who informed me they'll no longer be using Direct Freight Express in the near future due to the deluge of customer complaints they receive concerning Direct Freight Express. 

Avoid this service like the clappers...

My package has been stepped on as there is a print of a boot at the center. Unfortunately I signed their paperworks without checking the item. When I finally opened the package at home, the item is damaged. But I do not blame them fully as the sender also failed to mark the package "fragile" and also used very little cushioning.

Shame we can't go any lower than 1 star. I have used Direct Freight for years and they have been, well.... ok-ish.
Lately their care factor has fallen to negative values. Of a run of three consignments I sent with them lately DFE destroyed one by running over them with a forklift ($10k worth). They lost the second one entirely and then with the final one they never bothered to deliver it. It took 22 phone calls to get their 'customer service' to find the parcel and deliver it, 32 days late!
My favorite part of this story is that, although I cannot get the company to return my calls or emails about the freight that has been damaged, lost or destroyed I have received notice today that they've made a court claim against me for not paying the freight charges on the lost consignment! 

My advice to you is find another company that backs it's service.
