In the last 4 weeks I’ve been here twice. Lines are down the road but the staff have been amazing. Moving people through quicker than ever and super helpful. I hope it stays line this. Great work and an excellent example of efficient operations. Thank you.
Ladies at the door are always super helpful and have a lot of knowledge plus patience when dealing with all the questions from the people in the queue outside. Yes sometimes you may need to wait a bit, but it seems like a good system is set up to get you in and out in an orderly fashion.
Went today to Sherwood Department of Main Roads and couldn't even get to a counter. Disregarded in the line! Trying to provide identity requirements to get a CRN and not even allowed in the door! So bad and so little understanding of the various needs people might have. Now I have to spend hours on the phone to the transport department just to do what could have been done at the office today with a bit of understanding and compassion. Poor form.
53 mins waiting to complete one simple task. You are dragged there to give them your money, a fee for this and a fee for that! Only to realise you've been hit with a parking fine for over staying one hr! 5 counters open with a line up of 15+ people outside waiting to empty their pockets also. More people behind the counter gassbagging rather than serving the public! Thats right, you are a publicly funded organization! These offices should be better resourced so we the people aren't waiting hrs! Govts got no idea
A complete joke ! Always a queue longer than a coal train. This place is beyond a complete joke, it is incomprehensible that this government can allow such poor practices to continue. There's obviously not enough staff or infrastructure to cope with the demand ! A blind man at midnight could see that !!! And there is no other location nearby to access. Simply pathetic, and typical of the Queensland government.
No staff, full of customers inside and about 30 customers waiting outside in heat. Qld govt you need to make things easier for your customers. Not happy. I would give zero stars if it was an option.
Brett, one of the driver test assessors, is extremely experienced. He helped me calm down and normalized my feelings. He offered options if I wanted to chat or not during the test. He provided fair, accurate feedback. He is easy going, friendly, and professional. I am grateful I had him as my assessor. He made my driving test experience wonderful!
I would like to highly recommend the staff at this branch. My experience was exceptional. The security guy at the door politely told me where to wait, the next lady greeted me warmly and gave me my ticket number. And, finally, the gentleman that served me at #8 window was so helpful, kind, understanding, and he very professionally helped me sort out my difficult situation. Thank you, to all.
Thanks to the team at Sherwood! Served by Vi who was brilliant and the excellent security girl Emily was efficient and went out of her way to make sure the elderly customers were comfortable $
It was rather busy but I didn't have to wait too long to register my car. It was a lot more effortless than I imagined. Parking wasn't a hassle either. Mind you I did go first thing in the day when it opened, which I advise.
