The person behind the desk was very rude they want us to be nice to them but it would be nice if they treated us better a smile might help.
First time for 20 years visiting the Cairns office and was quite impressed with their efficiency of attending to customers. However, I also called the 132380 number to book a driving test. Not so impressed, waiting on hold for well over an hour to get to speak with a human. Thought I must've accidentally called Centrelink. Public servants..........baaaah !!
First very limited parking, then a fully packed waiting room...not many counters open and the few that were serving customers didn't seem to proceed in an efficient way. I left after 30 minutes....not impressed.
Surprisingly was a quick in and out 10 minute wait all up, photo shoot, signature and gone, probably the fastest wait time ever at a Transport Department..
Friendly, helpful, efficient and good access but waiting times are are longer than busy people have time for.
The people working here are so helpful. Was a bit worried when I went in on Thursday because there was so many people waiting but they are so efficient and my wait was about 10 minutes. Good job

Staff are friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is the place could be bigger as there are not enough seating space.
Always busy. The staff are so laid back and helpful that it makes the wait seem worthwhile.
Did a P Test with Karin - she’s such a sweet woman who made me feel calm during the test because she was just so friendly. You’re lucky if you get her! And the young lady at Counter 11 who served me was really lovely. She greeted me with a smile, was very professional and works quickly. Great job to this team and keep up the good work!
