Really cute place to watch a movie! I love that you have the option of buying alcohol and other drinks prior to the movie. Toilet was clean. However, the cinema screen was reallly small dependent on the cinema hall. We were sitting at the back and we were squinting and leaning forward to catch the little details during the movie.
This is one of my most favourite places to watch movies.. the seats are comfortable.. the stuffs are cooperative.. they also have a nice variety of foods and drinks options.. the $10 tickets on a week day are the best options I think!! You should really visit them...
Great facility. The lounge cinema extremely comfortable. Not the biggest or most modern but reminds me of the cinemas I grew up with so a bit nostalgic for me. Great experience. Tuesday has cheap tickets so plan your visit to save.

It is one of my favourite cinemas which have friendly staff. The movies on offer are always varied, and not only the so-called blockbusters. I always chose Dendy Newtown before any of the other cinema chains.
Comfortable seats and very friendly and helpful staff. I booked a ticket for the wrong date and they were happy to help out so we could enjoy our movie on the day. The cinemas are clean and sound is good.
Small and nice. Not too many seats, sound was good. Cinema 10, we watched Creed 3. Booked online and seemed easy enough.
Have been a regular at the Dendy Newtown for over 20 years!. its a great no nonsense cinema with alternative and mainstream movies. become a member for a small yearly fee and you get great discounts on movies and the candy bar - I prefer supporting local cinemas than the larger monopolies!
My local and my favourite cinema to visit. I would highly recommend joining Club Dendy because it offers great discounts on tickets especially if you visit often.
Great theatre, comfortable seats, pleasant staff, good range of movies, lots of good cafes, pubs etc nearby. Dendy seniors membership means reasonable prices.
