Received a very suspicious email (pixelated email signature, bad grammer) asking me to verify my billing and delivery address details by providing a scan of my bank statement and Photo ID. I thought it was a scam so I called DELL. The customer service was shocking. When I did reach an operator, they basically told me I had to send these documents through or they will cancel my order as it's their credit card fraud prevention policy.
Whilst I understand and appreciate the fact that you're taking these measures to protect my credit card, there must be a better way than sending through sensitive information "by email" where I have no control of who gets access to it.
Please also be more professional when corresponding with customers.

Paid for a laptop. Money lost somewhere in Dell. The sales team has only one response: and that is to cancel the order and place a new one which then refuses to recognize that I have paid. How long will this merry go round go on and on and on? Meanwhile I don't have a computer and I seem to have lost my money.

I just spent an hour and a half on the phone to Dell trying to get a new power cord. I got transferred to every department before they hung up on me. I gave them my contact details but never received any call back. All I want to do is buy a spare part and it's proving to be way more difficult than it should be. Safe to say I won't be using Dell again in the future

I bought an all in one desktop around 2 years ago. then one day it doesn't work. I did a troubleshooting with Dell support and found that the motherboard needs to be replaced. have been waiting for 11 days already and still cannot even get a quotation for replacement, even though I chased every 2 days. This is a joke. it was my first time buying Dell products and also had purchased a Dell laptop. Do not buy their products, if something goes wrong, you will be on your own.

Customer service is very patience with me and so have i with them 5 start for the guy but they can't do exchange even though their policy listed they do. I have to wait for a refund even though i wish to directly exchange for a different product to save some time.
