Very limited selection. There are only a couple coolers and two other shelves. Pricing is mostly in line with other bottle shops in Port Douglas but I would avoid this one unless you are only looking for the most common items. Their spirits selection is extremely small.
Every time I have come here staff are incredibly hostile and rude. I forgot my mask the other day the mask indoors mandate is days away from being lifted anyway and the man literally pushed me out of the store. I was already walking out and leaving my friend to buy as she had her mask, it wasn't necessary to lay a finger on me. We are all trying to do our best I usually am happy to follow safety guidelines and am vaccinated, I made a simple and common mistake. A shame that some people have become this way.
Great service on Monday 12th April considering I had no mask and could not enter the shop, The employee simply asked what I needed and provided the goods to me in the doorway and paid by CC. The following day, with a mask on I entered the shop and was served by a different, extremely grumpy and put out staff member who's public interaction requires substantial improvement. Suffice to say I have mixed feelings about service, though product selection is good.
Went in last night and the guy working was extremely pleasant. Had great suggestions and was very transparent about pricing and whether or not something was worth the money e.g. he told me not to buy something from him and to go down the road to the brewery. Not pushy at all. Unfortunately, I won’t be back because I’m not local, but if I were, this would be my go-to spot!
I would not recommend this business. I Searched for a place to buy some liquor on a Saturday night. Their website advertised that they shut at 10 pm so I walked from the marina to buy some. Arrived before 9 to see a paper notice saying they that they shut at 9. The doors were locked the sign inscribed on the door indicated that they shut much later than this on a Sat night. at 9 the staff member came out saying they were closed and that she had already closed the till. I just wish businesses advertised their actual closing times and that staff would close their tills after the advertised closing time and not before. Also what happened to just apologising nicely rather than going on the offensive.
Google maps says that it closes at 10pm. The permanent sign on the door says it closes at 10pm. The temporary sign on the door says it closes at 9pm. We arrive just before 9 and it's closed. The lady defensively said that she has already shut the till and ready for bed. It's a real shame that you can't support small businesses as they are unreliable. Even if they have changed to 9pm, they shouldn't shut the till down until 9pm. Very dissapppointing

Went in bottle shop wanted to buy a carton and wine had cash sale would have been over $100 VERY nice man behind counter was very apologetic that they didn't except cash it was card only so went to tavern at 4 mile won't be back to davidson street
