If you're heading to Adelaide , South Australia, make sure you head into Dante's . I've always felt that a great sandwich is underrated . The crew in Dante's certainly nailed the selection, the fillings, and the service was fabulous. The little courtyard was super cute to sit in. A definite must try for everyone. I had the chicken sandwich , and friends had the toasted mushroom and a pastrami. Can't wait to return to Adelaide oneday and will definitely be heading back to dine again.
Was visiting Glenelg and spotted this place on Google.nHad the pastrami. Brilliant! Toasted very well. I arrived at 11am so had to wait a bit to get my sandwich but it wasn’t too bad considering how many people were there. I recommend getting there at 10am to avoid a wait. Also had one of the better coffees I’ve had in Glenelg.
Was super keen to try out their sandwiches and had heard a lot of good things. Unfortunately, the bread was extremely chewy and hard to bite through. Considering that bread is the main component, you would hope more thought would be put into it. Extremely disappointed. On a more positive note, the staff were kind.
I don’t recommend. Staff have an attitude. Went there twice. First with my partner and then me just on my own. Both times didn’t get any sandwiches because we was rather to early or to late at 2? Staff are real snobby and hippy looking. Both time we came in we got greater with the “um we don’t sell sandwiches until 10am come back at 10”. That pissed me and the partner off. Then another time I just asked them if they still had any sandwiches and told me that they was sold out. Just in a real blunt way. If you guys want a decent sandwich just drive to Hyde park. The staff there is more inviting and loving and make a delicious sandwich and an actual large coffee. Not a small cup and call it a large
The tastiest, most generous sandwiches I have eaten in a very long time! Love the tuna melt and the Sopressa is my favourite nI've visited twice now, and both times the service and food were amazing! Great coffee too
