If you’re in the mood for a proper toast, this is the place to visit. The tuna toasted sandwich is a must-try — you simply can’t go wrong with it. The mushroom sandwich was also enjoyable. The location is great, especially if you’d like to take your sandwich and enjoy it by the beach.nnThe biggest drawback, however, is the coffee — it really needs improvement. Sandwich: 5 , Coffee: 1 . Delicious!! It was a rainy day so luckily they hadn’t sold out before we got there and there wasn’t much of a line. The sandwiches were massive and the ingredients were quality. Definitely worth the money! We tried the soppressa +hot honey and the veg sandwiches - would get them again. So great!
Can preorder food. We arrived at 12:45 and was told it would be a 15mins wait on the toasties. Friendly inviting staff. Seats available in porch area and out front. Offers sweet + savoury options alongside coffee. Can watch them make sandwiches fresh. Can by local made products as well. The pastrami toastie had a salty buttery crust being toasties. The creamy sauce soaked into the bread and the pickles were crunchy and salty. Loved the cheese pull and the pastrami itself was thinly sliced and layered up. Overall amazing and appetising appearance with a mix of textures and flavours that complement the toastie so well. Could recommend it more
Wow, I’m genuinely impressed! These guys make seriously delicious toasties. I had the pastrami with chilli oil and it was absolutely divine. I love the Italian style chilli oil used as it is olive oil based. They also have a chilli honey which I am keen to try next time I am in town. I don’t usually eat canned tuna, but I tried the tuna melt with chilli oil and was blown away, hands down the best tuna melt I’ve ever had. They’re cold pressed orange juice was perfect to my liking, a little sweet with sourness. But I ended up leaving Adelaide a little later than planned, but it was 100% worth it. Must try!!
This place is mad busy. Some toasties sold out at 1pm they close at 4pm. Staff very busy, lots of people queuing up. A long wait. The food is delicious 10/10.
