"Daisy's mission is simple - offer fresh, tasty takes on Southeast Asian Street food in a setting thats anything but pedestrian. Bao buns, 5 spice hawker rolls, dumplings, noodles, seafood laksa....all prepraed by Thai Chef Jakrapun Imthonghai known as Bong, using fresh, high quality ingredients. Served by staff who love food and live locally.Who is Daisy Chang? Details of her past are elusive, but she's rumoured to be a wisened woman of the world that cooks great food. A trend setter and party girl everyone wanted to know. People would hunt out her unique flavours and fine cooking at whatever cost. Her establishment was invite only, marked only by a small name on the door. Uniquely mysterious, and maybe ficticious...."

Very underrated place in Auckland! This place needs more fame and noise, this food deserves it all. I know Bong's cooking back from when he was in Kingsland. Everything is really a one of a kind experience. Tried the chicken, pork belly, salmon, paw paw salad. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. Just the paw paw salad was more carrots and was missing some freshness for the price $20. Cocktails are also great and well priced!
Food was amazing! Went there last night new years eve the place was packed and yet the service was fantastic. Food came out quickly and dishes were delicious. Raw market fish was our favourite. Our server Abigail deserve a special mention as well for her attentive and friendly service. Didn’t rate the experience 5 star because the table was wobbly and the seats weren’t comfortable. Regardless we will be back.
This restaurant... what is not good about it!? From the staff to the menu this was lovely but the food was truly superb. The very best Drunken Noodles we have ever had. Thanks Daisy Chang for a very enjoyable experience all round.
Prices were on the high side given the serving sizes. The best tasting dishes were the drunken noodlesvery spicy and the slow cooked beef. Edit: taken another star off as there was a dead bug in our pitcher of lemonade
First time dining here and enjoyed our food. Was quite busy on the Tues night we went. Menu was interesting that we wanted to try everything! Our 3 fav dishes were the Wok Charred Broccoli cooked but still crunchy, Smashed 8hr Braised Beef so tender with just the right amount of chilli and the flavoursome Fish Curry tasty sauce. The Malaysian Squid Tentacles were just a tad on the salty side and the Crispy Eggplant was unfortunately underwhelming. Keen to try other dishes next time. Drinks menu was good as well as the list of cocktails. They could've been short staffed on the night but the service was friendly and food came out quickly.
Very Delicious food and packed with flavour Even though their was no raw fish as they were out I will definitely be trying that next time as you can tell how much love they put in their food. The customer service is very friendly as well Thank you guys for a great time at your restaurant
We have visited Daisy Chang on many occasions and love the meals. However on Friday night every dish was delivered to perfection. A+ fresh, bang on flavour and super succulent. Thank you Ben, Bong and the team - Top Work
Had another top meal at Daisy Chang last night. Highlights for us were the pork belly bites which melt in the mouth, the broccoli how do they get it to taste that good?, and the ribs. Also great service and friendly staff.
I got the drunken noodles. The beef was so good. Dam. We got broccoli too. That was okay. Shes an expensive place to eat. But the staff were really forthcoming and polite and the food was yum. The interior and aesthetic is nice too
Went their with my wife on our anniversary on Christmas Eve 2021 for a 07.30pm booking. We got a call around 06.15pm advising that they would be closing the kitchen at 08pm as they aren't enough bookings so we either come in early and order timely. We liked their communication and understood where they were coming from. We couldn't make it early but ordered almost straightaway. The service were just amazing, the food was immaculate and the waitresses were very professional and friendly. I wish Daisy Chang all the success.
