The DairyMaid mobile milking unit enables you to milk between 6 and 10 cows per hour, or 10 to 15 goats per hour. Therefore, hand milkers can triple their capacity and milk more cows within the same time. Reduced milking time means you can spend that time doing something else.

I bought a Dairymaid DM-1 bucket milker around 2 years ago.  We have used it twice daily to milk 3 cows since we bought it. We had some minor teething problems because we allowed milk to be sucked into the vacuum side.  The dried milk gummed up the vacuum pump.  Easily fixed by removing the cover and cleaning with WD-40 and a clean cloth.  If you need to open the vacuum pump, remove the carbon vanes carefully.  Replace them, after cleaning, making sure that they go in the same way as they came out. Other than problems caused by our mistake, the machine has done the job beautifully.  It is robust, reliable and still has lots of useful life left in it.  Spares are readily available and well-priced.  I would confidently buy another one.  BTW I don't dish out 5 stars except in exceptional circumstances - these guys got really close to 5 stars
