We ordered a pint and a schooner. The beer was very good. When we ordered a second we noticed we got ripped off. The first pint was shorter even though it was the same diameter. In the pic you can see it compared to schooner.
Dainton Taphouse is an absolute winner when it comes to laid-back vibes, top-tier beers, and food that hits the spot every single time. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a great spot to unwind with friends, this place delivers across the board.nnThe beer selection is nothing short of impressive — packed with variety, creativity, and bold flavours. Whether you like your brews hoppy, dark, fruity, or experimental, there’s something on tap to surprise and satisfy. The team clearly puts a lot of passion into the craft, and it shows in every pour.nnThe food here is just as praise-worthy. I’ve been a few times and it’s consistently delicious. The pork ribs are smoky, tender, and fall-off-the-bone good — sticky, rich, and deeply satisfying. The loaded fries are the ultimate comfort food — crispy, indulgent, and perfect to share or not!.nnBut the true star of my most recent visit? The peanut butter espresso martini. Absolutely divine. It’s creamy, smooth, with just the right punch of espresso and a nutty twist that takes it to the next level. I can safely say it’s my new favourite way to enjoy an espresso martini — it’s inventive, delicious, and dangerously moreish.nnThe venue has a great atmosphere too — relaxed, friendly, and perfect for both casual nights out and weekend sessions. Staff are always welcoming and helpful, which just adds to the experience.nnThis place nails the balance of fun, flavour, and friendliness. Can’t wait to go back.
Been here many times before and always had good food and good service tonight was the absolute worst. 30min wait for meals to be delivered in dribs and drabs , pizza came out 10minutes before the burger and then the Parma then pork roll. The killer was what was almost inedible and akin to microwave food. It wasn’t super busy at 6:30pm either. The Parma had more breadcrumb than chicken and not nice, let’s not even talk about the pork roll thing. Friend said Pizza was decent. Burger was edible but dry and close to burnt. Such a shame. Really keen to support local but not when it’s this bad.
Very nice even, if it was a 38 degree celcius day the poor staff. Parking was no issue. They got us into an airconditioned part thank goodness. Service was great, food was nice although portions seemed to vary greatly. I liked the blood orange beer - especially on such a nice day.
We had a very pleasant enjoyable experience at Dainton Taphouse. Food was tasty and well cooked. Service was great and friendly, couldn't have asked for more.
