Staff are smiley and friendly. Had a Berry nice acai bowl it was lovely. May partner had a toastie with vegan cheese. It was ok. They all so have a variety of smoothies which also looks great.
So I know I should have got a bowl... buy the toasties looked to enticing and I am glad of my choice.nThe Mexicana toasting was not only absolutely delicious but also a generous size considering the reasonable price point as wellnnShop is nice as well, seating inside or outside and easy parking everywhere.nHighly recommend!
I’m so obsessed with açai bowls I am trying to limit myself to a monthly visit because if I had my way I would probably be visiting for takeaway every day and/or buying a franchise. The staff here are absolutely lovely and I applaud the ability to customise each bowl by choosing your three fruits though I largely default to the same three of orange, strawberry and watermelon. Always delicious and perfect on a summery day like todaynnLatestnBack to perfection with a super frozen bowl of deliciousness. A bit hefty pricewise for a quick lunch on the go but the quality of high caliber ingredients renders it good value for $ and it’s so freaking yummy I frankly don’t really carennUpdatenI gave in and ordered lockdown takeaway despite what I considered to be a steep delivery fee of $8 given it is essentially a smoothie we are talking here. Imagine my disappointment when I realised they had no grapes available and didn’t call to see what I would like instead just wrote it on the lid!. So my inclusion of three selected fruits became two. It shouldn’t be an option on the online order if it it out of stocknnOriginal reviewnI don’t even know how four branches of Açai Bros popped up without me knowing. I was eating acai before it became the thing to do and a staple on the majority of Melbourne’s breakfast menus. I was delighted to discover not only the existence of said chain store but also the convenient location of my house being pretty much smack back between 2 of the Melbourne based stores they are Australia wide, amen to that.nnI was fairly horrified to realise my takeaway bowl was $17.90 as you’d probably be hard pressed to cop that at an actual cafe but when it came out it became apparent it was loaded with toppings which somewhat justified the pricepoint.nnIf anything I’d say the toppings were too excessive because the ratio to actual açai was disproportionate. This was probably more loaded because it was a speciality bowl so I’m keen to try their standard bowls and more of the speciality because they all sound sensational
I wasted an hour of my life and $15 for this mush…nnHonestly, their food is awesome! Their time management is very poor though. They often will have wait times of 30minutes to an hour.nnThis gem was from an online order placed 15 minutes before I arrived in store. After I spoke to the girl at the register and she said it will be ready shortly and they will bring it out to me. 45 minutes later after watching a stream of customers be told it will be a 40-50 minute wait I went back up to find out that they had finished my order ages ago and it had been sitting in their freezer which doesn’t stop it from melting. I should’ve asked for a refund, but I didn’t really want to wait any longer so whatever.nnThis isn’t the first time and I probably will still go back again for some more mush, but honestly, do yourself a favour and go find a local café and give them the business instead. Or if you insist, only grab something from here if it is early morning and quiet.
Early morning Acai bowl with delicious bananas, strawberries and peanut butter. Very tasty and very filling. Worth the price as it’s good value. Good service with friendly staff.nI would recommend.
