Absolutely delicious food and friendly service makes the whole experience that much better. We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the outdoor dining terrace and was perfect for the warm Sydney day. Highly recommend their non veg platter, handmade Samoa's and of course BUTTER CHICKEN! will be back! Vegetarian options: lots of vegetarian options for starters and main meals Kid-friendliness: there is a kids menu and we say high chairs available Parking: Easy parking across the road there is a huge carpark available with free parking Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access from main street entrance Dietary restrictions: We found veg and vegan options as well as gluten free menu items
In general the food was tasty however the beef in the curry was tough, there was only 5 bits of chicken in the butter chicken probably because this was part of their Monday night buy one get one free deal. $8 for a glass of lemon lime bitters is over the top as is charging $1.50 per take away container. To top it off they charge a 1.98% service fee if you pay with card. Was nice but not nice enough to justify the prices or for us to come back.
Restaurant was very clean and tables presented extremely Good. Staff very friendly We ordered the mixed vegetarian entree and we found it very ordinary. Naan garlic cheese bread a bit soggy. Butter Chicken not much chicken at all not enough even for two people, mostly all sauce, which tasted nice. Paneer Tikka Masala that was ok first time to taste this dish but wouldn’t get that again. Asked to take away just the sauce and rice and was charged $3.00 for 2 containers. Seriously that’s not good for business at all.
Came here for an early valentine’s day dinner, the atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious and got a curry for free from the 2 for 1 Monday special. The dishes came out promptly, all round a great experience and will definitely be coming back :
The food was so amazing even after i was full i wanted to eat more . and the location was very amazing and staffs were friendly as well. I suggest you guys should try it too. I could only give 5 star because there is no potion more than that i wish i could give more than 100 star. Cheers
Had a great experience at curry lovers. Food is very authentic and represents Indian delicacies very well. The crowd that comes here to eat is mixture of people from all over the world and not only confined to Indians. Recommend butter chicken and their naans.
Must have been an off night. Arrived 6.30pm Friday. Booking made three days before had been lost. Only two tables with customers but our group of five was stuffed into a corner next to a family table of a dozen or so of all ages including kids. Had rung to see if they were BYO and told 'yes' but the two young and obviously inexperienced staff were hesitant to bring us wine glasses and finally relented. Actually asked us if we wanted our entrees first! Despite lack of customers, taking our orders and bringing food were done slowly and without much real interest. Food was overcooked and everything - whether lamb, goat or chicken, tasted about the same. All the time some rather loud and vaguely pop music was playing just to be sure conversation was a bit difficult. A truly big 'fail' from an established local Indian restaurant that should be much better. Vegetarian options: Good selection on menu
I am happy with what I ordered. I purposely requested ‘medium spicy’ to see how spicy it is, but the curry was not even close enough to get my taste buds going. Other than that, the chai tea is exceptionally good too. Will definitely be back for more.
The food and the service was not great.. the food is over sweet for Indian taste.. they charge extra for chilli $3.. and also charge 2.5% surcharge on card payments. The quality and quantity was below average.
We ordered vegetarian biryani and vegetarian platter today. The food felt stale while eating, biryani was super spicy as if been heated few times. The platter felt very oily. Samosa had raw flour on edges. Ambience is pretty cool hospitality was good. Curry lovers could improve quality of food as per the prices they have quoted would be good. Vegetarian options: They have pretty good range of vegetarian food.
